The cashier taking my order was very friendly and very kind. The food was delicious and came out in good timing. The salsa bar was not taken care off, many items were missing. It was a bit dirty and just sad. I had to ask for limes and the manager came out asking what I needed. I asked for limes and she said "I'll just put some on the tray" She grabbed the tray from the back, where food is prepared, came out while I followed. The manager then noticed trays were missing from the salsa bar, she goes back to get a tray, comes back with the tray full of limes but doesn't have the prongs. Tells me she forgot it, goes to the back. By then I was done waiting so I grabbed the prongs from the cilantro, that were in the onion tray. I got my lime and right at that moment she tells me in a mad tone "Don't ever do that, that's cross contamination!" I of course reacted and said "Don't tell me what to do" but she said "we don't use the spoons or prongs in other food because we contaminate the food" Really???? Let's analyze the comment đ§Uhmmm wasn't she the one who was going to put the limes from another tray to the salsa tray? And it's already bad enough that everyone puts their most likely dirty hands on the serving utensils and she is worried about food touching other food? Not to mention the area was not clean. I was irritated by the manager. She could have been nicer and apologize for their lack of attention to the salsa bar. Oh well, overall it was good. Just had...
Read moreThe food was above average but small portions. The taste is good. But what you get for the $ you lay out is OK, at best. The place was almost empty. No more condiments bar. You ask for the condiments when you order. The soda fountain is Coca-Cola products. You have to get the tea, sweet and unsweetened from behind the ordering counter--the cashier will serve it as well as the coffee. I drank Coke-Zero. It was satisfying. I ordered #3 combo, 2 soft ground beef tacos, chips and queso. The meal was tasty but small. If you go there with a Hungry-Man appetite, you better order double. All in all, the place is quaint and quiet. No music and no TVeez. I didn't try Wi-Fi, so I don't know if that is available. A/C kept the joint cool. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. If you wanna do the drive-thru your service won't suffer. I was at TC for 2 hours and there was only 1 driver who came through for the Tex-Mex cuisine while I was there. TC also has pickup from online orders. They can be picked up on the right-side when you enter the front doors, kinda like what...
Read moreMy daughter and I got the Steak Fajita and the Ground Beef Nachos for take out. Once home and ready to eat, we were very disappointed to see the nachos were dry. Hardly meat AND hardly any queso. And what made it worse were the tostadas were stale! I was so upset. Itâs quite a distance from my house or else I wouldâve gone for a refund. The cashier wasnât very friendly either. No smile, no welcome, nothing. You could tell she didnât want to be there. This was at 3:00 pm on a Tuesday. The place was empty. My daughter and I were the only ones there. Itâs not like the lady had been real busy with so many customers. One position thing though is that the establishment was very clean. But no, I wonât be coming back because itâs happened before with the nachos. I was just hoping theyâd be better this time. Sadly...
