What an absolute joke. 0/5 I order on doordash after 20 minutes of waiting they call me and tell me they don't have a driver, my food is ready but they don't have anyone to take it. Then they bring up picking it up. I cave cuz I got to feed my kid and it's already ready so I say yeah I'll come, but you got to re-ring me up because I don't want to pay doordashes extra fees if I'm going to be there myself to get it. They didn't understand so they put a manager on. I explained to this lady what I just told the other employee, that I want to be re-rung up because I don't want to pay the doordash fees cuz it would be an extra 10 to $20. That I would come and pick it up that's fine, I was told once again the food would sit ready. Me and my kid farted around the house for about 5 minutes and then we left, another 5 driving. When I arrived there was a man in front of me also for a pickup and another order being worked on. I was addressed by the manager at the cash register. She said can I help you and I said I just talked to you on the phone about an order for pickup. She said okay they're working on it now. I was a little irritated but I bit my tongue. I stood off to the side while they worked on the one ladies order, and then another man's order. All working on the one last order before me they made a mistake with the lady before them and everybody had a good laugh behind the counter. The entire time I watched the manager so one tray with bread dough to go in the oven and another 10 minutes standing socializing and not working, talking to the working employees who are trying not to talk because they were working. Finally after what seemed like forever, one of the employees came up to the register and said are you waiting for something and I said yeah I had an order for pickup, he looked confused, and was looking for a ticket, the manager then said he's here for a chicken Caesar, at which point I said no that is not my order. I also stated that I came here you stood there for 10 minutes talking you didn't even know who I was or what order I had because you didn't ask me when I told you I was there for a pickup. I had forgotten to mention the fact that they had already told me that the food was made twice. 100% a joke. If that's the kind of manager they hire, I can't believe they have business. Will not be back. The manager is supposed to call doordash on Monday because they wouldn't cancel our orders on doordash and doordash makes them do it not us at that phase. I will be quite shocked if I don't get charged that $40 something. Considering she didn't even know who I was after ten minutes...
Read moreFirst off, I leave a review maybe once a year or two. But my lord, was this the WORST food experience Iâve maybe ever had. When I entered there were two teenage girls behind the counter that didnât acknowledge me and one women in front of me in line. I saw they were working on sandwiches and assumed nothing.
8 minutes goes by and no one has made eye contact from the back. I asked the women in front of me if they had helped her, she said, âthey havenât even looked at me.â
The workers look depressed, unhappy and uneasy. They would not look up from sandwich making. Finally I walked down to the pick up counter and asked if someone could help me order and the girl quickly screamed âwe are fulfilling an order sir! I told you that!â But she never did... she never even looked up at any of us in line!
I assume it was a phone order based on the other reviews I just read, but none of the 3 workers would speak to us or look at us. I honestly wouldnât have batted an eye except for the obvious sadness of both girls. Thatâs when quickly an older gentlemen came in and went behind the counter. I assumed he would helpâŠ
He took off his jacket in a rush when he heard the bread oven go off. He didnât say a thing to the now 6 of us waiting in line. And thatâs when the women in front of me asked the short dark haired worker who had her earbud in the entire time, how they could ignore us standing there in person and the girl replied, âsorry not sorry mam. You canât get mad at me for doing my job. Im making sandwiches.â
It was quite the experience for a Sunday around 11:30am. I canât but feel the manager and owner wonât care about this review at all. But I hope someone considering applying here someone might reads this.
I know itâs a bad analogy, but I canât help but feel like the workers all looked like battered shelter dogs while they worked. I canât imagine this place is even remotely well run and I wouldnât recommend anyone try to get a sandwich here. There are other JJâs within 5 minutes in both...
Read moreAt 8:00 PM, I placed an order for toasted subs, items that are currently being heavily promoted on your website. At 8:15 PM, I received a call informing me that the toaster was turned off for the night.
I find this unacceptable for the following reasons:
Misleading Promotion: Your website prominently advertises toasted subs, yet the option was unavailable an hour before closing. This is misleading and frustrating. Poor Timing: If there is a cut-off time for toasted subs, this should be clearly stated on your website and/or when ordering. Unsatisfactory Customer Service: The manager I spoke with was exceptionally rude and offered no helpful solutions. Their dismissive attitude was unprofessional and further compounded my disappointment.
I expect a company that promotes specific products to make them available during advertised business hours. Furthermore, I expect to be treated with respect by your staff.
I request that you address this issue promptly and take steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future. I would appreciate a response outlining how you intend to rectify...
