I had a terrible experience. I waited almost 30 minutes for a bubble tea that never arrived. I decided to get up and leave. It was my first time going to this place and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. There was a big group of people next to my table when I got there but they were pretty much done eating and left about 10 minutes after I arrived. I think there was maybe other two tables already there but I didn’t see anyone else ordering. I have no idea why it took so long for me to just get an iced tea when I was dining in. I was greeted by someone at first and they quickly took my order and then they left and I never saw that person again till almost 30 minutes later I saw a girl cleaning tables and I thought of asking her about my order but I was already getting hungry and hadn’t ordered a main entree so I said out loud “I’ll just get up and leave.” I think she heard me when I said that because she came up to me and asked if I had placed an ordered, I said yes and then she proceeds to pull out an iPad and take the order from the table next to me that arrived AFTER I had already placed my order. I don’t know why she didn’t go find someone first and let me know how much longer I would have to wait for my drink. She didn’t even ask what I had ordered. All she said was sorry and went to take someone else’s order. That’s when I got up and left. I do appreciate that the girl apologized… I just wish someone had communicated and let me know it would take some time for my bubble tea to get ready. No one talked to me or asked me if I was waiting or how long I was waiting. Yes, the place has cool anime vibes and a TV that plays anime and cute anime plushies and lucky cats when we enter the restaurant however what’s the point of being anime themed when I can’t even eat or...
Read morePlace is very pretty and appears clean. We looked up the hours and wanted to sit but were told it was carry-out only. Maybe we didn't look close enough... Host / Server was nice. We purchased 2 shrimp Tom Yum and 1 shrimp coconut curry. The shrimp in the Tom Yum was so not fresh that the shrimp tail was THE SAME hardness as the shrimp. Maybe it was fresh and was boiled for the entire weekend? No one got sick... The Tom Yum also only had shrimp, liquid and noodles. I have gotten more vegetable and flavor + spice at other places. Maybe that is how it is made at Udon Nomi. The coconut curry was tasty. The food was hot. Overall I will likely never go back - I feel like it is overpriced for what you get: ingredients and...
Read moreI have driven past this place many times and kept intending to visit. This Friday I was finally able to go. Initial impression, the restaurant is really cute, clean and welcoming. I love that it plays on the whole anime genre. I went in with zero expectations on the food and left very impressed. We ordered gyoza, edamame and kimchi pancakes to start. Everything was delicious but the star of that show were the kimchi pancakes. Chefs kiss. For our entrees, we ordered stir fried udon noodles with the crispy chicken and a shrimp udon in a spicy broth. Both were so flavorful and delicious. Service was great. She was extremely nice and everything was well taken care of. We will definately be back to try...
