Edit 5.23.2025 I really enjoyed the smoothie bowl—super fresh and flavorful. One bit of feedback: after I finished, I wasn’t sure where to leave the tray since there wasn’t any signage. I ended up leaving it on the counter where I ate. As I was leaving, a staff member stopped me to ask for the bowl and to throw away my spoon. I totally get that some places expect self-cleanup, but the way it was said felt a little abrupt. A clearer system for where to leave things would make the experience smoother. Old: Vive Natural is a great little spot if you're looking for some healthy options. They have smoothies, parfaits, salads, mineral sodas, and more. If Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Protein Bar had a baby it would look something like Vive Natural. What I like most is the high quality ingredients they use. It's always fresh, real, whole ingredients. Of course, that also comes with a higher price tag for some of their items. I've been here twice already and I really like the forest yogurt which is basically a parfait topped with pecans, berries and honey. On a separate note, the seating could be improved. The seating feels more like a waiting area rather than a cafe. Also, it wasn't 100% clear what type of place Vive Natural is. The words "Juice Bar" should be just as big as " Vive Natural" in their logo in my opinion. That way people know right away what to expect. I might have stopped in sooner because I would drive by this place all the time but wasn't sure what it was! All in all, definitely worth checking out!

Enjoy supporting small businesses when I can, but this place missed the spot. They got a plumbing issue, so when you walk in it's not the most pleasant smell. Secondly, no customization or "make your own." The dude charged me when I substituted apples for strawberries in the smoothie bowl. Please inform me that there will be a charge for substitution before payment. When I confronted him on this, there was no apology or positivity. Just poor customer service. Also, Pitaya Bowl was gross. Yes, one of those places where the food looks better than it tastes. Would avoid this place for now due to this bad experience.

This place in Elgin is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, the cute decor and bright colors make you smile. It’s cozy and welcoming, and the vibe is just perfect. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. The prices are awesome too, but the food? Oh my gosh, it’s amazing. You can taste the love in every bite, and the little details just make your day. I’d go out of my way to come here—it’s a hidden gem you just have...
