This has by far been my WORST experience with the Wendy's chain and frankly I don't believe this comment box will be enough to adequately describe my disgust! I arrived at the Wendy's drive thru at 11:40pm (I am aware because I have to be to work at midnight). I waited in line as the car ahead of me sat at the drive thru. Eventually, the car pulled up as did I. I sat for a while at the speaker and was never addressed. I said "hello" a few times before eventually pulling up in hopes of speaking with someone and placing my order at the window. When I pulled around the corner, I saw that the car that was originally ahead of e was still in line and had 2 other cars ahead of it. I saw them speak with someone at the window and heard (as my window was still down from trying to place an order) they were instructed to drive back around and the staff refused to take the order from the window. Seeing the car pull off, I pulled out of line and went back around to the drive thru speaker box a second time in attempt to place an order. Again I first waited, the said "hello" louder this time hoping to get some service to no avail. So, I pulled up again and saw the car that was originally ahead of me back at the window again but this time not being addressed. I watched as the driver ahead of me got out of their car and knocked on the window to try to get service then to complain after being instructed to drive around again. The driver ahead of me then got back into their vehicle and sped off. I then pulled up to the window where I could hear screaming from one lady, who I took to be the manager and watched as another employee stood laughing. The employee looked at me through the window then walked away so I waved and said "hello" to bring her attention back to me. I asked if they were open and informed them that I'd been trying to place an order and that like other vehicles before me I'd already gone through the line twice. The girl at the window informed me that yes they were open and so I let her know that I didn't think their speaker was working. She told me that whomever was supposed to be taking orders had her headset off. I say okay, and then ask if they were still open to taking orders. The other lady, whom I assumed to be the manager yelled "FIVE MORE MINUTES, WE'RE ONLY OPEN FIVE MINUTES!" I inform them that I'd been in line for over ten minutes at this point attempting to get service and I said "that's alright" because at this point I'm one, disgusted with the service or lack their of, two, unsure what the quality of food would be if the behavior of the workers was so horrible, and three, I still had to be to work by midnight and was already going to be late because I now had to go somewhere else to get food. The girl at the window rolled her eyes and shut the window on me when I said "That's alright", even though I was still talking. My goal was to get the name of the workers to include in this report but when she shut the window in my face, laughed, and walked away I simply drove off. Disrespectful and beyond...
Read moreService: This place is average for a Wendy's. I have been here more times than I can count and the service usually is average for fast food. Sometimes it is slow and sometimes it is fast. Other times I have had to pull up and wait and no one else was in the line so that made no sense. The service had improved the last 2 months or so but last night it was back to being about the same. It can be hard to hear the person taking your order at the drive-thru window and then they will ask you to repeat your order. It can get annoying if frequently visited. Most of the staff are friendly. Some act like they hate their job though, which is sad. I don't think any place will top the friendly service from Chick-fil-A. However on a positive note, I get way better service when I go inside. I rarely go inside though. I forget who was the cashier when I went inside last time (about a week ago) but she was friendly, fast, and got my entire order correct and made sure I had the sauce I asked for and asked me if I needed anything else. Also, when going through the drive-thru they tend to forget my sauce or something every 2 or 3 times I visit. Food: I love Wendy's chicken nuggets, fries, honey mustard, baconators, frosty's and the new frosty cookie sundaes - and this is why I keep going back plus it is the closest Wendy's...
Read moreI came to Wendy's, at 10:50. I believe the manager was very rude. I ordered a number one I did not think I had to specify that it was a combo. If I said number one, they gave me the sandwich and a large Sprite, no fries, but then said I did not order fries. I thought a number one. Would be a combo, not just a sandwich and Sprite, that makes no sense to me. The manager acted as if I was wrong for believing. It was a meal and had the nerve to have an aptitude. I'm not sure if I will be back here because I don't like being rude too as a army veteran. When even d enemy, I was surrounded by was not rude to me but getting a sandwich in the u. S means I can be rude too and made to feel disrespected. This is very upsetting to me. Go usa wendy's i was not looking for anything free. I have the money to pay for what I asked for the meal came out to be $17 because I ordered a chili, but I'm failing to understand where the miscommunication was. If like I said, ice asked 4A number one, sounds like a meal to me. I did not say I just want a sandwich and a drink. It makes no sense to me but I guess I am the one that is wrong and deserved...
