Starbucks — Restaurant in Elizabeth

Had the worst experience here. Ordered 2 quad venti toasted white mochas. One came out correctly the other only had two shots. The cup was not written right (no 4 in the shots box) and it definitely didn’t taste like it had 4 shots. Since I’d paid for 4 shots I went back and asked if I could get the right drink and tried to be as nice about it as possible. I work at a stand alone Starbucks and understand that it can be annoying to get drinks returned and I understand what being a barista is like and also how to make all the drinks. The manager Tracy said she made it herself and literally took the drink and threw it into the sink. When they were remaking the drink they definitely didn’t care about getting it out to us and let the shots die in the drink so it didn’t even come out tasting good anyway. Between the terrible attitudes when my mom and I had been as respectful as possible about it and the terrible quality of the drinks, this place totally gives Starbucks a bad name. Would...

Ive just recently moved to the area. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt because I have hard days too, but I have never been greeted in a friendly way here. Nobody looks me in the eye. Nobody smiles. Just today I stood at the counter for four minutes before one of the two women working there addressed me. I paid for my drink and when she finished it, she just slid it to the end of the counter without saying a word and walked off. Despite being apart of a larger store (Safeway) where I would typically expect a slower experience. The staff at this location are always quick to prepare drinks, even with a rush of people.

They've also gone above and beyond to make sure all the surfaces in the cafe area of the store stay sanitary. Something Im very mindful of in the midst of the pandemic. They always have face coverings as well. So you can be certain that during a quick stop for coffee its both good, sanitary, and safe.
