I am never eating at the Elizabethton Taco Bell again! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
I found a hair in my quesarito. My mom took it to the cashier. I didn't want it replaced, I didn't want another item. I just wanted them to know that there was hair in the food, and that they should check the rest of the food just in case. I also wanted an apology, which I don't think was asking too much. The cashier took the quesarito from my mom, took it to the back of the restaurant, and showed it to someone (she later told us it was the manager). She brought the quesarito back, said they couldn't find any hairs, and gave it back to my mom. My mom asked to speak with the manager. The cashier, who was being very rude and angry, said that the manager was too busy to talk to my mom. She never apologized.
My mom came back to our table and told me about what happened. So we went back inside (we were eating outside), and asked if I could talk to the manager. The cashier said she was busy. I asked if there was a corporate number or a district manager's number that I could call. The cashier didn't even respond. She sighed exasperatedly, rolled her eyes, and stomped off to the back of the restaurant. She came back and said that her manager was busy, but could talk to me if I'd wait. I said that I would wait, and my mom and I sat in front of the counter and waited. We waited for more than ten minutes.
For the last few minutes, I could see the manager, the cashier, and another employee huddled together talking. They were just talking! While we were waiting there!
The manager finally came to the counter, and in a angry tone ask how she could help us. She was clearly annoyed, and her demeanor was very off putting. I explained the situation, I even said that I didn't want the item replaced, I didn't want anything else, I just wanted an apology. She said that she could apologize, but it was their policy that they had to see the hair and that she had not seen a hair in any food. I said that I've worked in fast food and I understand that it happens, I had just wanted to let them know. I then said that I felt it had been handled rudely, and that I wanted an apology. She kept saying that it was their policy not to do anything unless she saw the hair. She then started arguing with my mom. My mom was getting really upset, and started loudly saying that there was a hair in our food and that someone should at least apologize. I told the manager that we would just take their survey and call corporate.
As we were leaving, my mom told other customers that there was a hair in food. The manager then followed us into the parking lot, yelling at us. As we were getting into my car, the manager, who followed us half way to my car, yelled at us to never come to her restaurant again.
I have never experienced something like that. It would have just taken a few seconds to just say, "I'm really sorry that this happened to you," or just, "I'm sorry." No one ever apologized. I even got yelled at! I felt so disrespected. That was the worst customer service experience...
Read moreDOOR DASHERS!!! It is by far in your best interest to skip any pickup from this location. They have specifically placed the dash instructions as to come inside the lobby or to the window. Until you get there and try to follow those exact same directions. Mind you .. all other Taco Bell follows these .. EXCEPT THIS LOCATION. You will wait in whatever line they have backed up (I was there a total of 30 mins .. yep 30 mins for a fast food DoorDash order) this means they had the order for at least a minimum of 40 mins at this point. When I called to ask what i’m suppose to do (as there is the timeframe running down) the manager refuses assistance, refused to give a name and then told me “you’ll have to wait in line if you have any other problems you can call back tomorrow. Bye.” Click. WHAT A GREAT MANAGER! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOUR BUSINESS PARTNER! Right?? And after 30-40 mins do you know how warm the food is?? Lol clearly .. it’s not. So .. Unfortunately, now I have to contact DoorDash to get everything worked out .. my ER nurses I picked up for are eating a cold and late meal .. and there’s half an hour just gone. I do plan on contacting the general manager that the “manager” I spoke with also refuse to give me the information on. But it’s totally ok. I found out who it is. Oh, and Mike, dear sir, if you just so happen to see this .. be looking for my phone call tomorrow. I don’t take well to someone being blatantly rude to someone else just trying to also earn their living and being hung up on in my face. What a great stamp she left on your name. Let’s get that cleared up .. shall we? Safe...
Read moreLast night got Taco Bell again. The worst decision I could have made, especially after talking to the night manager. I called and spoke to her (the manager), she asked what was wrong with our meals. I told her what was wrong with them. Chips so salty you feel your BP going up just looking at them, chicken so dried out you wouldn't even give them to a dog, and chalupas shells were so hard and cold. They were more wrong with it, but before I got to tell her everything, She said you could come back now, why would I want to do that? to get the same mess. I still feel sick the next day. She said they was nothing she could do about it. I had 24 hours to bring food and receipt back. I'm not bringing or taking pics of spit up food. She said it's made in the morning to last all day. Om, that's sad and sickening that the food I get late night has been there all day. Why no one other then morning shift able to make anything there. They always have said something about Taco Bell going right through you, see why now. So called food sitting around all day. Managers that say they can't do anything about the messed up food. It's fixed in the morning to last all day. She also needs to be taught that her job should also be about how she is with customers. My day sucked just like her's may have, but I didn't talk to her like I felt, she works with the public talk to...
