Bojangles — Restaurant in Elizabethton

I wish that I could rate this Bojangles with 5 stars. Before the Covid pandemic, this Bojangles was one of the best. But now, It has changed and there is just no quality in the food. (And this review is not from a one time experience, but from my experience over the past several visits I have made lately. Each time hoping that the previous visit was a fluke and that it would be better this time.) The food is usually cold and/or biscuits hard. If you request an item to be a special way, like something added or left off, it is like the request is completely ignored. I will just have a difficult time going back to this location. I know the pandemic has hurt it along with other businesses, and they are having a difficult time employing workers. I wish they could hire someone who is only responsible for checking food quality and accuracy on every order. But for now I’m afraid that I will have to visit other locations in town. This Bojangles needs to shut down a few days, re-evaluate their processes, and open back with the quality everyone has expected at this restaurant. Inside dining is closed, and drive-thru can take a while, but I would rather wait a long time in line and get good food instead of poor food served faster. Hope to update my review for the better months...

This is the most amazing bojangles i have ever been to. Not only is their food and service always top notch, but this morning they made me a chicken tender combo at 6:30am when it's part of their lunch menu. I was getting them for my wife who is a 3rd shift CNA. I have never felt so appreciated by a fast food place before.

Update 4/16/2024. This bojangles is STILL on top of their game. Food is always amazing. Service is still great. Got their new blueberry cookie a bit ago and even tho it doesn't come with icing, the employee was like 'hey...you want icing on that cookie? It just came out the oven' and they did it (highly recommend BTW. It's gonna give you diabetes I'm sure but mah gawd). I love coming here. Give me some coupons! Lol

Update 9/20/2025. I regret to tell you all that I do not believe they could ever be bad. My family goes here 2 times a week on average for breakfast and the few times they make a mistake (as in forget something) they have it at the window for me the moment I wrap back around. Their food and service...

'Do What?' was the response at the menu board. I repeated the question, and 'Yes' was the response, they do have Pork Loin Biscuits. YAY! I ordered a Pork Loin Biscuit and a Med Diet Coke. She said 'so you want Four biscuits and what else?' I repeated my order and told me 'pull around.' She opened the window and asked 'what to drink?' A diet coke, I said. She handed me my drink , and then the bag with a Plain Buscuit(!) as I found when I drove off. Came around again , she asked for my reciept and there it was on the receipt Plain Biscuit. That would have been bad enough, but then the manager came to the window and agreed with the order taker that she had heard the order and I wanted 4 biscuits OMG! Then dismissing me, she smartly asked if there was anything else she could get for me. BTW, they don't have pork loin...
