Planet Fitness — Local services in Elizabethton

Me and my friend went to the Elizabethton planet fitness for the first time and upon arrival the man was very friendly and he said we could go ahead work out , which we did and then we went back to the front desk so we could inquire about joining and a lady by the name ( Danielle ) and another lady that work here joined in along beside her , while me and the man amd my friend was talking about the packages and while we was talking the women (Danielle and this other lady which looked very petite , short hair , dark was both sniggering and being very rude every time I was asking a question to the point it was very uncomfortable! I asked the man amd another young women which was standing there to check out the hydro massage bed and the other lady spoke up and said that we couldn’t use those and I said we have never been here and we would like to see what all the gym has to offer ! The younger lady she was very sweet took us around and I asked what the rude lady’s name was and that’s how I knew the name ( Danielle and the black lady’s name that was sniggering and laughing I didn’t find out whk she was other then a rude employee and the young lady said we could try those out for 5 minutes ! The gym didn’t only lose 2 new members but also our family and along with friends and I hope whoever takes the time to read this will relay because if someone went in there that and any issues such as depression or down on themselves with weight / bodydiamorpha or any issue this definitely would make a person never want to go back to any gym ! Due to how rude employees and to beat all the manager happened to be the rudest and that happened be the one named Danielle ! Ps : The saying posted the and I website judgement free...

Great gym, very good equipment and friendly staff. I would’ve given 5 stars with the exception of a few small things. 1. Lack of scales throughout the gym. 2. I have never been asked by or offered any kind of personal training by the staff even though it is included in my membership. 3. The 30 minute express workout area is intended for those who are doing the workout and no one else. There are even signs. This is not monitored by the staff and definitely not enforced. Every workout I have done in that area is interrupted by some person who wants to hop on a machine in there and do 4 sets. This is not acceptable and should be focused on. Either enforce the rules or take the signs down so everyone can use that area. All the machines in that area can be found in several other areas of the gym and those folks should be made aware of that. I have spoken to staff in several occasions about this and they seem empathetic at the time but nothing has been done. Maybe give folks that want to use that area a pin or a wrist band to ensure that they are allowed in that area. Simple, plastic washable and it would curb the issue as long as staff...

So I normally go to the JC location, but due to renovating the tanning beds the other location I was told to go to was Elizabethton. And I have to say I'm highly displeased with the service I have received there. First off, I would like to say that they offered me terrible service from the jump. They stated my account was past due when I've paid on time each mo.. mind you the JC location said that was incorrect so once clarifying the payment issue. Upon entering I was told my hub couldn't work out as a "bring your friend" .. each time I go the people act like it's the end of the world I want to tan.. another thing they close at 9pm on a Friday?? That's the craziest stuff I've heard. I highly recommend the kpt or JC location.. I'm screaming please remodel so I can go to JC where they are super friendly and know their regulars.. I also noticed the JC tanning bulbs get you darker. I've tanned 3x and don't see any results VS the jc tanning bulbs. This is...
