China Wok — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

Just order a fish fillet hunan style. I asked the cashier what type of fish it was. He said Talipia. When I received my order, it looked good and smelled great, but it tasted horrible. It tasted like a blog of fat. I cut it open to see what was inside, I don't think it was fish. I returned it immediately. I was insulted and told it was fish, and I was the only one to complain about it. They refuse to allow me to order anything else without paying half for it. I paid 20.00 dollars for something that I could not eat. Why in the hell would I pay again for another meal. If you can't stand behind your cook, get out of the food industry. This is my first time ever giving a bad review on Google. I believe if you can't say anything good, just don't say anything.

The food is excellent the only problem is communication, been going there for plenty years never had a problem until use their delivery service ask the gentleman that was working the front desk how much does the total for the meal including the delivery and tip charge it was like $6 he said everything was included and the total came to about $16 the driver gets here and told me that the tip was not included which I was told originally it was So I ended up tipping the driver $4 so all said and done it came to $20 and it was only a lunch special with crab Rago and a can of tea it's not the money it's the principle that I was lied to over the phone and the only one that suffers for it as the customer and not their mistakes. Poor customer service. I Placed an order in person at the restaurant others came and left before us, none of the staff said anything to us so I went to check on our order the cashier guy said your's will be a minute, so we waited some more by then it was almost 30 mins later so I said how much longer then he finally said your order got mixed up and one word "sorry". Then we waited until a lady finally gave us our order to go she said Nothing. We left Only to get to our apt which we just moved into with nothing unpacked to find out they didn't give us any eating utensils so we had to dig up forks from our boxes.
