Delicious banana walnut waffle! 99% of the time it's a great experience and delicious food when dining at Jelly and when ordering for delivery. But it's been more than a couple times that I've ordered for delivery where the portions were not what they are usually, undercooked food, poorly packaged, and missing utensils and condiments. There are a few of us who order delivery who work long hours and the graveyard shift. Night shift workers are often overlooked and with the effects of the pandemic with stores closing earlier and with fewer choices of course we find ways to make it work and the convenience that deliveries brought throughout the pandemic was such an upside esp for a nightshift worker. *** All I’m asking is please be thoughtful of your packaging (if budget allows) (separating cold from hot items) and if out of ingredients please don't mask it by doubling the portion sizes of the sides because if I've wanted an extra portion of the side I don’t mind paying and adding an extra portion. But please provide the right portion size for the entree and if it’s not possible then please rescind the order or give a heads up and send a message but don’t give false hope and disappointment to a loyal patron who feels tricked and wasted hard earned money. As someone who has worked in different kitchens working different positions as server, line worker, food prep, dishwasher, I’m aware of the rush and the shortage the f&r industry experiences even pre-pandemic times. Even now as a healthcare worker I empathize. It’s disappointing that quality fails sometimes because of that. This is a good go-to place for breakfast, nice ambiance, friendly crew/servers and just like everyone else can use some room for improvement on a few shortcomings.

This has been the go-to breakfast spot for my husband and I for over a year now. When I asked my husband where he wanted to go for his first father's day brunch, he chose Jelly. I went ahead and made a reservation for 6 adults and a high chair for our 7 week old. My husband and I both ordered the hash bennie and noticed that the corned beef amount was normal on one side of the English muffin and practically none on the other side of the muffin. This was the case with both our dishes. We brought this to our server's attention and she seemed to have an attitude about it. She brought it back and relayed that the owner says that portions are normal. The owner stopped by herself and tried to play off that the portions we've received in all our prior visits were extras of someone else's. We didn't want to argue about it so we started digging into our food. Poached eggs were overcooked on both dishes, the potatoes are mushy and cold, and my corned beef even had an egg shell in it. This was outrageous. We asked to speak to the owner again and she decided to avoid us instead. No apologies for the overcooked eggs or the chunk of egg shell. The server only asked us if we wanted the dishes remade. Given the attitude and poor service, no thanks. The owner eventually stopped by to grab the check and had a smug smile on her face. Still no ownership as to what happened. Apparently this is the new norm now. She clearly does not care at all about customer service and quality control. I've highly recommended this place to all of my friends and family and even considered holding my baby shower here. I'm glad I didn't. Don't worry, we won't be spending any more money here and will tell all our friends and family the same.

I've been here plenty of times before but never again. On fathers day I ordered the hash bennie and the attached pictures show that the hash is mostly missing. There wasn't even enough to cover the muffin. Now in my party, other people ordered similar dishes and to my surprise the other hash Bennie was also a bit lacking so I asked the server about it and it was clear at that point that the staff was not up for complaints. She took the dishes away and brought them back in under a minute untouched and we were advised that the owner says this was standard. She offered to bring a side but it seemed very condescending. She was stressed and it was showing to my entire party. I let it go and started to eat and the eggs were very overcooked. A poached egg should run. These were hard and to top it off, it had a big piece of shell in it. At that point I was frustrated that the meal was going so poorly and I wanted to talk about it, and it became clear that the server and the owner were avoiding me. When I finally did get the servers attention she took the dishes away, but I was made to feel like it was my fault or I was looking for a handout. The owner finally came by and was so condescending and acted like she did me a favor by taking it of the bill. It was untouched! A few days later my wife write a review on yelp and the owner essentially started name calling like a spoiled child in her response. It was completely unprofessional. The owner has terrible leadership skills and it's projected onto the staff. I won't be back and you should avoid this place.

Stopped here on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It wasn't quite full, but it was on the busier side. My first impression was that Jelly Cafe is a smaller and more modern version of an old fashioned pancake house. Located on the Golf Road side of the plaza here, it can be easily found and there is ample parking. For breakfast I ordered the Avocado Bacon Omelet. It's a 4 egg omelet. Wasn't quite was I was expecting. The omelet was blended of all the ingredients and was Green in color and very fluffy. Certainly unique, but lacked the flavors of both the avocado and the bacon. There was considerable amounts of chopped Red Pepper inside and a decent amount of melted Mozzarella resting on top. Alongside the omelet were diced breakfast potatoes which were very tasty and I opted for the fruit in place of toast/pancake. The fruit too, was very good and fresh. Our waitress was a very pleasant lady. Don't think we ever got her name, but she did a good job. The food was prepared a little faster than I was expecting as well. Big plus for me here is that water is readily available in large glass bottles at each table and that you don't need to ask for refills. I would certainly return to Jelly in the future.

06 Dec 2024 - Jelly Café is a fantastic breakfast spot! We tried the Corned Beef Hash and Egg, Mexican skillet, Strawberry Nutella waffle, and coffee. Each dish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The waffle was a standout, with its sweet and indulgent combination of fresh strawberries and Nutella. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere made the experience even better, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing breakfast. Highly recommend Jelly Café for a delicious meal to start your day!
