I come to this coffee shop almost every day and always order the same thing: a medium iced vanilla latte with light ice. Simple, right? Yet somehow, it’s rarely made consistently. As a barista myself, I understand how things work behind the counter, so I try to be patient and give grace. But the quality — and the service — have become too frustrating to ignore.

First off, charging 25 cents extra for light ice feels excessive. Again, I get it from an internal cost standpoint. But as a customer, it’s hard to justify, especially when the drink doesn’t even taste right.

The issue that bothers me most is the inconsistency. My latte tastes different almost every time I go. Sometimes it’s fine, other times it’s completely watered down. I finally said something about it tasting like water, and it took 15 minutes to get it remade which, fine, I’d wait for a quality drink. But during that time, I witnessed the baristas laughing, pointing, and gossiping about my complaint, which was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable.

What really pushed me over the edge was when the barista said, “We don’t add water, we add milk,” in a condescending tone. I am a barista. I know what goes into a latte. The issue is the technique: they add the ice first and then the espresso, which immediately waters down the drink - especially if the espresso sits on the ice before any milk is added. It’s a clear sign that the staff isn’t properly trained on how to make espresso-based drinks.

Overall, I’m really disappointed. As someone in the industry, I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect consistency, professionalism, and basic coffee knowledge. Unfortunately, this place has fallen short on all...

Overall a cute place and TONS of options. But everything I ordered was too sweet. Matcha was okay (I like real matcha so I am picky) - I think most people would enjoy it. I expected the garlic cream cheese roll I ordered to be moreso food rather than a dessert, just based on the name and looking at it, but it was a dessert. If that's what you are expecting, it was decent. Kind of hard though. But as I was not expecting a dessert, I was pretty disappointed with it. The main reason for 3 stars is that both me and my mom got bad diareah a little after we left. My mom hadn't drank or eaten anything else today, and my last meal had been about 5 hours prior, so it kind of had to have been the matcha, which was the only thing we both ordered. Either the ice or soy milk was bad. I'm hoping this isn't a common occurrence. I unfortunately definitely...

I arrived on a Sunday morning at 7:25 AM. The door was open and I went in and I was rudely greeted by a young lady who firmly told me that they do not open until 7:30 AM. I asked if I could grab a seat and wait the extra five minutes until they were officially open and she told me that I had to go outside and wait. So I went outside and at 7:30 I walked in and started to look for some pastries to have. The staff seem to be disturbed that I was the first customer right at 7:30 and I was not even greeted friendly when I paid for my pastries. I then called afterwards to talk to a manager to share my experience and another snooty girl, probably the same one that I originally dealt with, said that she was sorry for the experience, but there was no sincerity in her tone of voice and then hung up. Won’t be back to...

A nice French-Asian Bakery. Their coffee was well made and my vanilla latte was not overly sweet. The bread is all freshly baked daily, and they have dessert cakes and macrons. Their croquettes are amazingly crispy on the outside, but soft and filling. Their blueberry creamcheese wheelcake was good, and different than the peanut butter and custard you will find in Taiwan, but the specialty of this place has to be their flaky breads! Get a croissant or a danish (I recommend the savory spinach and feta, but they have sweet ones as well)! Most recommended item is definitely the croquette though! They have kimchi, classic onion and carrot, and curry. It was good enough to buy more on the way out. They are wheelchair accessible, and have a wheelchair reserved table in the corner next to the big windows.

I absolutely love my visit to Tours de Jours! Everything I ordered was fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor. ☕ Matcha Iced Latte Tiramisu—This was my favorite of the bunch! The matcha was rich and smooth, perfectly balanced with the creamy tiramisu layer. It was not too sweet, just right. 🍩 Twist Donut – Light, fluffy, and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Great texture, not greasy at all! 🍞 Milk Cream Bread – Soft, pillowy bread with a deliciously creamy filling. A simple but satisfying treat. 🍠 Taro Buttercream Bread – This was a pleasant surprise! The taro flavor was authentic and the buttercream added a nice richness without overpowering it. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly. A spot I’ll be coming back to! Highly recommend it for pastry lovers. 😊✨

A delicious cafe worth stopping by for! We tried the fruit pastry, pain au chocolat, and a matcha-filled donut — all three were flaky and delicious. For drinks, we ordered a mango smoothie, iced vanilla latte, and iced americano, which were refreshing and well-made. The environment was clean, bright, and welcoming, and the overall experience was enjoyable. One concern, however, is that the pastries are not individually wrapped, which could pose a risk of contamination. Also, the sliding glass cabinets make it easy for flies to get in, which takes away from the otherwise great setup. Still, the quality of the food and drinks makes it worth visiting again!
