Initially, I was going to give this place a 2 star but the interaction (or lack of) with person who rang me up forced the 1 star. The place is clean and everything looks fine but what kills a place for me is when you have menu items that are nothing like what is advertised/detailed. I ordered a Greek Salad. The picture is clearly not a Greek Salad. No Kalamata Olives and all of the vegetables were chopped in cubes instead of sliced, i.e. the onions, green peppers and tomatoes. Someone other than my waitress brought me the salad and when I waived her down to ask why they put regular black olives from a can, she stated that they ran out (as she did when I asked for oil and vinegar) and they they haven't gotten to changing the menu I'm sorry but I didn't order a garden salad. If you're going to skimp, don't do it with items that make the dish! Place seemed like a revolving door and they were just trying to push people in and out which was evidenced by the waitress not even asking if we wanted anything else. She merely placed the check on the table and told us we can pay up front. They must have noticed my displeasure up front because there was 0 interaction and as I was waiting for my wife to use the restroom, other patrons came up to pay and were asked about their experience. I'm not the complaining type if I'm not asked about my experience, but this being my first time there has truly soured my opinion about this...
Read moreI came to this restaurant with my significant other on Father’s Day. As expected the place was busy, & the servers had a lot of customers to attend too. The food was decent, but however we encountered several problems as we began to get ready for our check. While my partner was packing up his food to go he found a hair in his food. We informed management about this problem, & Management told us my partner’s food would be free. Next, we proceeded to check out & the manager charged us for my partner’s food (which was supposed to be free)& added an addition charge of a side of pancakes to our bill which we did not order & that was not listed on the original bill. After paying for our food & receiving my receipt, I brought it to the manager’s attention he charged us for the wrong order & added an additional charge. The manager had an attitude when we informed him that he charged us for the wrong order & an additional charge. He kept cutting us off when we were trying to explain the situation to him. Also, he acted as if he did not want to give us the additional money back he had overcharged us. At first he made it seem as if he had only overcharged us a $1 when it fact he had overcharged us $4. Furthermore, I believe it was truly intentional that he charged us for an additional item that was not listed on the...
Read moreI enjoyed the food and the company I was with but did not enjoy the wait staff in the slightest. As an individual with numerous dietary restrictions and allergies, I often ask questions about what I am eating ahead of time to make sure I wont have any allergic reactions or issues with the food. This morning I asked what ingredients are in the veggie sausage links just to double check it'd be safe for me to eat and our server, Katelyn, sassily replied that they are vegetables maked into sausage links. She then added, that's why they are called veggie sausage links. When the person I was eating breakfast with asked questions about his meal, he was met with the same response. After asking if he could have a side of hashbrowns with his breakfast skillet, Katelyn replied in a rather rude tone that the breakfast skillet has hashbrowns in it. And again added- That's why it's called a skillet. It was a bit off putting considering it was my first time eating at Golden Brunch and I was excited to experience what they had to offer. I ended up ordering the veggie sausage links anyways, only to have them arrive undercooked. Only one tasted like it was fully cooked. Maybe our waiter was having a bad day but regardless I wish it hadn't impacted our morning in the way it had. I was only asking questions about food to...
