McDonald's — Restaurant in Elkhart

I have been here twice recently. Once to get a steak bagel, and once to get a quarter pounder. With the steak bagel, I also ordered the meal, and everything was actually good, except for the price. It was really expensive for McDonald's food, and on top of it they accidentally charged me for TWO drinks. When I got to the window, they realized their mistake. But I didn't. I heard the lady go, "Oh. I see what happened," after I told her that the large pop she was handing me wasn't mine. But do you think they tried to tell me, or give me a pop I actually wanted since I already paid for it? NOPE! I just drove on my merry way. What she had said made me wonder if I had overpaid, and sure enough once I got the receipt back out, they had charged me for a large drink. Pretty sure it got added on between me ordering and me paying. The fact that they didn't say anything just shows what they think of their customers. However, the steak bagel was good, and surprisingly so was the hashbrown and coffee. So I decided to try a lunch menu item from the same restaurant later. That was a mistake. McDonald's, what has happened to your food? This tasted like one of those microwave burgers that you would get from the frozen section of the dollar store. And it looked like it too. And I know that it was a fresh one, because I had lettuce and tomatoes added to it. I paid a DOLLAR extra for that lettuce and tomato too. And the tomatoes they put one were these laughably small pickle-slice-sized tomato ends. And the cost on it came out to somewhere around six or seven bucks. So dumb. I could have gotten two Whoppers for that price, which is exactly what I'll do next time. Maybe McD's should become breakfast only. It seems to be the only thing they...

The interior is upscale but the service seems casually productive. You may find your patience tested at times. McDonald's is a good quality stop. Plenty of parking as it becomes busy. ** During their renovations, the drive-thru was only open. I placed an order for two Egg McMuffin breakfast sandwiches and a large iced tea. As I was on the road driving towards my meeting on the western state line of Indiana, I started to eat the first sandwich and bit into eggshells. I ate a bit of the other side but then started to eat the other sandwich that seemed okay but had a hard, dry muffin. I threw out the eggshell filled sandwich as the temps were in the 90's. Not wanting my car to smell like eggs. The large iced tea was mostly ice. I had around half the tall plastic cup of tea. I returned back in the evening in the drive-thru once again and placed an order for two sandwiches (quarter pounder and big mac). I explained my experience with the person taking my money and show him the receipt. He took some time in comprehending what should be done. I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager began his questioning about the issue that I brought up, he asked for the sandwich. With the receipt in his hands, I explained to him the reason I had thrown out the sandwich, I was quickly dismissed. I replied that I was unhappy and have had several unpleasant experiences due to waiting times and that he could look at my face for the last time. I picked up my sandwiches and was off. They have a manager who is racist against anyone but who is Mexican my family and I had ordered not much food so when I order food I check ingredients a quarter pounder has onion on it and it had non we had 4 fries 2 were fresh and 2 had been sitting there for 15 min and were hard nobody is ever up front at the desk unless they are giving you you’re food someone waved an employee over and nobody came they are really careless one of my burgers had a tiny dot like a .
