King Gyros Dunlap — Restaurant in Elkhart

The rib tips are not the typical rib tips that are small, almost bite-size pieces. They were the size of my palm. It was bad enough that they were cold, but to top it off, they were tough and tasted like they had been boiled. The sauce was non-existent, and what had been brushed on was very flavorless & did not add any flavor to the already sub-par rib meat. Fries were limp & undercooked. This is the only place close to us that we can get gyros. My husband generally likes their gyros; however, there are times when the meat seems like it hasn't been sliced off recently, so it has one side fresh & the other side dark & dry looking. I will say that the mozzarella sticks are good when they're hot. And the bar-b-que sauce has a decent taste; although, it's runny. The service is quick when they actually listen to what you order & make it the way...

Ok, at first I thought it was us, but not after the third occurrence and watching the crew prepare food tonight. In the last couple months our orders have been getting screwed up over and over again. Mostly the little stuff but tonight took the cake. I had to yell at one of the cooks after they tried to rinse off a used hotdog to use it on a meal then microwaved a frozen hotdog to use on another. When I got our order the fries were under cooked, some of the standard condiments were missing for the gyros meals and the sauce for feta fries was foal smelling. Everything we ordered we ordered before so this was a suprise. We won't be coming back to this location. Maybe the Goshen location...

Spent 30 dollars on dinner, rib tip dinner, ribeye sandwich, fried mushrooms and 2 chili dogs. When I looked at my tips all day and grizzle and no fries in my dinner. When i said simething the older gentleman started yellinh thats not fat and you got mushrooms. No my husbannd got mushrooms and we paid fornthem. He threw extra meat in my box and said here soubleborder. Threew fries in a bag so much grease and cold not edible. We have been going here for years but since the new management it has really been sub par. Cheap meat messing meals.
