Stood in line forever. Was next up and then told to go to another register. I couldn’t understand why, but I went. This person wasn’t open yet. The line I was in checked out 2 more people before I was even helped.(I even had enough time to run out to their lobby and grab this big snowflake I saw..). Bad decision. After I had checked out I had noticed the snowflake I purchased was broken . I talked to the manager and she told me unfortunately that happens. She told me I could put a bow to cover it up. It cost me 20 dollars after the 50 percent discount. If I wanted to return it I would need to get back in line to return. They have 3 lines open and 8 people in each line, of which I just got out of one. Why would I keep a snowflake that is broken that cost 20 dollars. I have seen her be short to many people in the past and today while standing in line. Maybe Hobby Lobby them selves needs to watch their videos so they can see that she needs to be offered some classes on how to politely and positively communicate with customers. Needless to say. I will go to another store to return it. BTW I rarely leave...
Read moreThis company has consistently posted reduced percentage pricing on tables of items which contain more non-sale items than sale items. I can't tell you how many times we went to purchase something and found them charging full price for something that appeared to be marked down. Good thing my wife watches the checkout closely. I bet if you shop here you have heard, "I'm sorry but that is not one of the items that's on sale. " Seems misleading to me. We were told we didn't read the small print. Humm, why do they need small print? You and I both know why. I don't suppose it ever occurred to them to put only the onsale items behind the sale signs or only put the signs where the onsale items are located. They also told us their web site spells out exactly what is on sale but that didn't seem as obvious as they suggested. Maybe we missed the small print on the web site too. Buyer beware... Still holds true. Amazon will be my...
Read moreThis store is getting weird. It's SPRING and the 4th of July stuff is out, which is fine because it's the next holiday. But there's also walls and walls of Autumn stuff. ???? There is an entire row of hay bales. What??? I'm not sure if this is because of the tariffs and so they're just putting out the merchandise they have but it's bizarre...
Then we got about halfway through the store and husband turned to me and said why does all this stuff seem so cheap? Hmmm 🤔
We also looked at some faux plants. There was a sticker on one that said causes cancer. Maybe be careful in Hobby Lobby that you don't buy cheap stuff that you're going to want to throw away immediately.
Also, why are they still not using a barcode system? Every time we're there one of the registers has been messed up and they rarely can move people through the line quickly.
The only reason I gave two stars was because they have a nice selection of art...
