I was employed here for about 8 months. I was hired on with the GM, Shelley. About a month later, management changed for the worst. I was 5 months pregnant with a 3 bedroom house and a 70 year old mom I take care of when I started there. I was very sick during my pregnancy. I would get hating messages from my other coworkers when I couldn't come in, due to my boss Janet talking about me. All of my co workers came to me to tell me about Janet telling them why I need off certain days. She has said I was selling drugs, when I was pregnant. I have remained sobriety for over a year now. I came to my manager on duty last week to tell him my co worker had been sitting around drinking coffee, while I set the McDonald's up alone at 5 am for the past 2 weeks since I came back from my maternity leave. Shortly after, I was called to the GMs office. I was told that she is physically ill and cannot perform her duties on a timely matter and that I basically had to deal with it. I was also told I need to go to her with any issues. (bTW, only time I've ever complained) Yet tells other employees to go to the manager on duty when they have an issue or a question. She then called that co worker to the office to tell her I called her lazy, and not a good worker. I was then told to come back to the office. When I walked in, Janet had left that coworker alone in her office and had me go in there to talk ALONE with my other coworker Kathy. Kathy was hysterical with whatever Janet said I said. I never downgraded her work ethic in any way. they have barely kept anyone at this McDonald's since she has been in this position, and everyone employeed there has been looking for a new job. She threatened MY job for missing today, but gave another employee the day off yesterday to go to a Michigan weed dispensary for her and her husband. I never had a problem like this when I was employed at my prior McDonald's. I hope the new owners adjust the corrections that need to...

This store, owned by the Bucciferro Family franchise group, has shown an ongoing pattern of poor customer service, long wait times, missing items, and complete lack of accountability, not just at the Elkhorn location, but across multiple stores under their name.
I’ve personally tried addressing these issues through proper channels, spoke with management, called their franchise number (every extension goes to voicemail), and even left a polite comment on one of their social media posts. It was deleted. Not responded to... deleted.
What’s worse is how they treat their employees. I personally know people who work at this location, and I’ve seen how little support and respect they get. Leadership from the Bucciferro Family is absent, dismissive, and disconnected from the very values they claim to uphold.
If you're a DoorDasher, I highly encourage you to report issues with this store using the in-app Chat with Support option. I’ve already filed a formal report with DoorDash corporate regarding excessive wait times and order issues. They confirmed it has been received and that they are monitoring for further complaints to take action if the pattern continues.

McDonald’s requires customers to attempt resolution before they step in — so every documented complaint matters.
If this location wants to be seen as a part of the community, it’s time their leadership starts acting like it — not just hiding...
Read moreSo a few weeks ago me and a friend decided to go thru the drive through during breakfast time. I ordered 2 hash browns and a large orange juice then told the woman that my friend was also going to order something and she interupted me said "Ok 2 hash brown 1st window!" I told were we had more to order and she once again yelled "OK 2 HASHBROWN 1ST WINDOW" louder. So i thought ok ill just pull around and explain this to the woman at the window since she obviously is missing what I am trying to tell her. I pull up, wait a minute or so and the woman opens the window. "Ok 2 dollar 58" or whatever the total was from the incomplete order. I said we had more to order and that my friend would like to add to our order and she then proceeds to say 'OK 3 HASH BROWN 3 DOLLAR 79" and then points at the wallet in my hand and repeats "3 HASH BROWN" i tried to explain to her and she continued to yell over me "3 HASHBROWN 3 dollar" I gave up and gave her the money and got my 3 hash browns. I then went inside so we could get my friend the food he had wanted to get. After waiting an extra 5 minutes in line he orders his food and I tried to explain what had just happened in the drive thru to the manager on duty. After listening to what had happened she simply responded, "Well you got your hash browns so why are you complaining" At that point I'm not going to start an argument over some stupid drive thru order so we left after my friend got his correct food. Just another day at this...
