Sunday 12-20-20 I paid 16.71 each ($50.13 Total) for 3 large pizzas. 1 cheese, 1 pepperoni and 1 bacon. We are traveling to West Virginia from Canton Gerogia a suburb of Atlanta.
As a comparison I could get, Seafood Cannelloni - Fresh pasta filled with a blend of ricotta cheese, shrimp, crab and lobster baked in cardinale sauce, att Ipp's in downtown Woodstock for 17.95 x3 with 9% tax for $58.60. Comparison: On Saturday night I got carry out from El Gran Sabor in Elkins and tipped over $15 on a $53, 3 Fajitas meals with 3 sides and 2 quesadillas, so the cost of the supply chain for food in Elkins can't be excessive.
I am not a complainer, and I do better than I deserve, financially. I do my best to be a good steward to my family's money and not waste it. Service and quality should be compensated by the customer. In this instance I was just ripped off because I'm not a local. I give every dollar a job in my house and get angry when I see my money stolen from, not me but my family. I could have just walked out when they gave me the price but my wife called in the order and 9 other family members were waiting in the VRBO, so I was stuck.
The Pizza was just a pizza, really should have been $10 each, nothing special about them. The price was...
Read moreWhile vacationing just outside of town, we stopped in at the end of our first day there. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly team member. I’m ashamed that I can’t remember her name. We ordered a couple pasta dishes that included a salad. We were served a large portion of incredible garlic rolls while waiting. The salads came quickly and were also large and very well put together with fresh ingredients. The bread and salads would have been enough food for dinner. Then the main plates showed up. One of us had baked ziti and the other enjoyed Angel Hair Al Fresco. Both of these meals were well prepared, hot and tasty. They were also very large! We joked that if we ever came back that we could share a meal. Very impressed with the food and even more so with our server. We decided to try again the next day. We ordered their antipasto salad and Mama’s house special pizza. Both of these items were perfect! Mama’s special pizza was loaded with meats and cheese. We couldn’t finish either. Yes, we came back a third day and shared the Italian feast. This time we had Mama herself take the best care of us! We highly recommend a visit to Mama Mia! Each visit made us feel right at home and the food/service couldn’t have...
Read moreI was there July 10th,2020 with my daughter and son and we dined in. The place looked really great and the aroma of Italian cooking hits ypur nose as soon as you walk in. The staff was super friendly and gave us their attention as soon as we walked in. When we first looked at the menu we thought the prices was a little high UNTIL we got our food. When we took the first bite we instantly fell in love with the place. I haven't had good Italian food in awhile. They use all fresh ingredients right down to the oregano and all you cheese lovers out there just let me tell you something..... They do not skimp on the cheese like other restaurants do like Pizza Hut does. So all in all I would say that the prices match the food and I have no complaint with it. When we paid we told them that we live about an hour away and I now know where to go get my calzones and strombolis. They were really glad to hear that we would travel there to eat.
Keep it up guys and never change what you do. Your...
