Today I ordered three burritos from Nine Beans, unfortunately when I got home two were incorrect. I had asked for two bacon, egg, and cheese burritos instead I received potato, egg, and cheese. Obviously, I was upset about it; especially since it was my brother's first time in town visiting and we did not need to waste time fixing a food order when I wanted to spend time with my family.
We called them, and instead of trying to remedy the situation they decided to ask the cooks if they had actually messed up the order. I was appalled at this lack of respect for the common courtesy of "the customer is always right".
I drove back to Nine Beans with my family in tow. We first asked for the manager, but to my surprise, there was not a manager. I had to talk to an insolent teenage girl who did almost nothing to remedy the situation. We showed them that the burritos were, in fact, not the correct order. We even showed them our receipt proving that what we asked for and what we got were not the same. They finally took the burritos back and gave us our correct burritos.
However, they did not reimburse us for the lost time (45 minutes of lost family time), our incorrect order, nor would they even give us extra salsa.
It was an awful experience and I suggest that people think twice before going to this...
Read moreI had a very terrible experience at 9 beans and a burrito in Elko Nv. While visiting Elko to see my family I decided to pick up breakfast burritos for my sister and mother. The burritos were wrong and when I repeated myself saying bacon and eggs breakfast burritos 3 times they thought that I wanted potato and egg burritos. They messed up and would not give me free burritos that were the thing I ordered: BACON AND EGG NOT POTATO AND EGG! I had to drive all the way home to discover that the order was wrong. When I called back to take the burritos back they had to ask the cooks if they put bacon in the burritos as if I was lying. It was insulting to say the least! When I took the burritos in to show them and get the replacements I asked to speak to the manager, well there was no manager so a high school girl around the age of 16 got to perform the managerial duties of taking care of upset customers. Read moreLove this place but today on 7/2 I had my elderly mother place an order for me at 7:16pm and the lady that was walking up to cars taking orders took it upon herself to tip $9.87 cents without confirming it. My mother didn’t pay attention not thinking anything of it and the lady took the order and ONLY had my mom sign after she did everything. Usually, they have you go through the tip and questions on their device your own but the lady tricked my mom. I don’t appreciate that and they also forgot to give my mom a couple of the items that were in the order. So disappointing because we usually spend so much money here and this most recent order was $80! I’m giving a 1 star because this experience tainted one of our favorite places...
