I love round table pizza but I very much dislike the management at this location.
I called the store to let them know I forgot to give them the room number for the hotel we were staying at. We were here in town getting prepared for a charity event where we help the homeless find jobs and provide hygiene, even supply fresh clothes and rides to get job interviews accomplished with hotel rooms reserved for placement and showers.
I come down with a little bit of a migraine and so I was going to walk to the gas station, and I wanted to make sure that they knew if they knocked on the door and for any reason I wasn't there. I would add an extra $5 to the tip if the driver would just wait because the most I would be gone is 2 minutes.
Upon speaking with a lady who later identified herself as the "ASSISTANT MANAGER" because upon 3 separate attempts to call back she finally told me that when I asked for the General Manager but before I get to that point . . .
I called to verify and give them my room number and let them know I would add extra the to tip had I not been there the minute they knocked. However, when the lady started talking she mentioned I had a small pizza and I said no I ordered a medium pizza. She says check your ticket I said I'll call you right back.
I called right back and I said Hey I think either your system or I may have, but someone made a mistake somewhere. Can you help me upgrade this into a medium pizza? She said I'm not really sure I can I said OK if I can't upgrade it to a medium pizza can we refund the order and a new order because I'm really hungry I just I don't know what happened here?
She got kind of rude and insulted me about me making a mistake and about how I should pay better attention and that people aren't as smart as their phones.
I then being insulted was like ma'am I just want to get some food I'm trying to get the right size for 2 people to eat and you're insulting mem! I said at this point I want my money back she said that's fine and hung the phone up.
I called back and they hung the phone up on me I called back a second time it rang for 2 minutes they picked up put me on hold. 5 minutes later (probably exaggerating a little bit) but a few moments later they picked up it was her again I said may I please speak to the General Manager. She said well I am the assistant manager and the general managers out for the day.
So I said look I'm not trying to be rude but you hung up on me and that was uncalled for. All I was trying to do was spend money with your company to get something that you already serve. There was a mistake on the order and instead of trying to help me fix it you got upset you met me insulted me and hung the phone up because you took it personally and you should never do that in management, or customer service.
I then asked if she would give me verification of a refund? She said that the refund would get processed. That I'll get my money back, the pizza will not be delivered and she said something else that I don't exactly remember but it was kind of a smart a** comment and then she hung the phone up on me again and just the rudest ........
....... I will be taking this complaint to the corporate office to make sure that your "Franchise Owner" or your "District Manager" knows how great of an assistant manager your you are. We are now boycotting your office and your brand and I have 52 offices in California. I know for a fact we have used you for catering for at least 3 events and each event was a very expensive, so you did a great job wait ago!
A manager can build a team and a business just as quickly as one can destroy it. I really urge The real management to not fire her but to seriously retrain her on customer service skills as this shows a huge deficiency in...

Let's start with the good. Staff was friendly. Pizza was hot and short wait. My family was just passing through Elko and picked round table because they are clean, and the pizza is consistently good.
Big mistake Big
This place is filthy, by filthy I mean absolutely not clean anywhere that can be seen. The floors from the front entrance to the back exit, including party room and restooms are covered in what looks like Flour or dirt from outside I could not tell. The dust on the floor is so bad you can see show prints in it, like trails. The tables have a greasy film on them. The booths are black on the bottom, the booth upholstery is cracked and dirty. The glass that surrounds the booth area is covered is greasy finger prints and other unknown substances.
The area of the kitchen that can be views from the ordering counter is also gross, the floors are cover is whatever dust and dirt, food debris as well.
The employee hand washing sink area is so dirty I fail to see how you can clean your hands there for food handling. On the topic of employees, there was 3 guys working that I could see. One of which did not used soap with washing his hands and another had a hate on that had a visible thick sweat ring around it. The swinging door that leads to the kitchen that can been see on the way to the restroom is covered in visible dirty hand prints and the window in the door is so filthy you can't see through it.
The fountain soda dispenser has a water spout that shares the same spout with a fruit punch drink. No big deal normally but this is clearly not normal, when you get water its pink. Even letting the water frun for a bit doesn't make a difference the water is still pink. I operated and worked in restaurants for years I understand that thing's get dirty, messy and stuff breaks. I however would never allow this type of mess in my restaurant nor would I work in a place where filth is the standard.

Read moreMAY 2024 UPDATE: DO NOT SUPPORT ROUND TABLE THE MANAGER IS HORRIBLE, WORKERS ARE RUDE, WORKERS HAVE BAD HYGIENE, & BUSINESS SMELLS LIKE SMOKE! SINCE STEPHANIE QUIT I TRIED IT A FEW TIMES & WONT AGAIN FOOD TASTED HORRIBLE & DIDN'T APPRECIATE THE ATTITUDE GIVEN.
UPDATE: Went in for dinner tonight, the new guy working there was very good with customer service, Stephanie was there & had her hands full but did a great job. The other younger gentleman working I've seen him be lazy but it was a different experience with Stephanie working with him. I almost didn't reconginze this store as they finally changed light bulbs to brighten the store. Upgrades/fixes still need to be done but I'm hoping the owners are finally taking initiative in this store after a string of bad reviews. I'd hate to see Round Table go under like Dennys because the community stopped supporting this store.
Stephanie is an amazing manager!! I always love coming into the store and dealing with her when I order. Food is almost on par especially when Stephanie is in the kitchen. Service 5 stars as I always deal with the GM Stephanie. Atmosphere is 2 stars as unfortunately this Round Table is a little out dated and needs a makeover. Stephanie does what she can to make the store top notch and always serving her customers/community. Unfortunately, upgrades and repairs are on the owners of the store. Highly recommend visiting twists and pizzas always taste the best. Weekly dinner spot in my family. Way to go Stephanie on your hard work...
