Elko chipotle
Years have gone by since I stepped foot in a chipotle. I kindly ordered a burrito, under the impression that this seemingly harmless employee knew how to execute this part of her job. My boyfriend opted for a burrito bowl, in hindsight that must be the specialty here, because his was edible. This girl stacked my burrito to the point it was falling off the flat tortilla, as I pleaded she just do a little bit at a time. Slopping it on like a dump truck. I thought, “that’s ok, I will be able to eat it with a fork when it inevitably falls apart “ optimistically. We have been driving from upstate New York to Northern CA, I was starving and actually desperately looking forward to this meager imitation Mexican meal. However, as we regrettably ventured further down the line of toppings, heaped out in quarter to half-a-cup ladle fulls, she inquired of the sauces. I like it hot. I asked for the hot one. Please only a little, god can’t she hear me, no I am helpless to stop her hand from fully submerging the 1/4 cup ladle into the spiciest red salsa and dousing the mountain of rice, beans, onions, peppers, Al pastor, queso and the poor, sodden tortilla racing towards its own natural end. At this point I am speechless, watching her strangle this mess into a swollen round package, salsa bleeding out from all sides, bulging and splitting apart as she wrapped it into foil, leaving it to steep in liquid beside the register to then begin my boyfriend’s order. I was so hungry. I didn’t want to believe it would be that bad. We hadn’t really eaten in over 24 hours. Trying to eat that burrito, that I paid $15 for, immediately set my lips afire, I became congested and could not eat more than a few bites. I love spicy food but I was absolutely abused by this Chipotle. Such service is reprehensible and I will never return to any Chipotle anywhere with careless employees. I will tell everyone about this experience to save...

Today was our 4th visit to the new Elko Chipotle. 1st time, about a week after they opened, they were out of both white & brown rice, black beans & barbacoa. It was about 5:30 on a week night and the place was empty. We walked out & went elsewhere. Big fat F that day. 🫤 2nd visit, again around dinner time. We ordered our bowls, they had everything we wanted. Took it home. They got an A+ that day. 😁😋 3rd visit was pretty much the same as the 2nd.😁😋 Today, we got there a little after 2pm (Sunday) again the place was empty. 🤔 Again they were out of several items: white rice, pinto beans, CHEESE & barbacoa. But we were still able to get our bowls, just NO CHEESE. But it was good.
I'm not ready to give up on them yet, but I'm really hoping they get their act together...and SOON. We love Chipotle and were so anxiously awaiting the opening. I just hope they can survive in this very...
Read moreThey really need to hire new staff that has better attitudes and way better customer service skills. Everytime I've ordered the staff was very rude to me when I asked if my queso was in the bag because last time they didn't put it in there and treated me like it was such an inconvenience to check and the girl basically threw the bag at me after putting the queso in the bag because they forgot.....again. Terrible service I hope this place either gets shut down or get all new older staff not entitled high-school kids that don't know what real stress is. If I could I would give this place zero stars. I called after I got home after a long day at work we started eating our burritos I paid the $5.25 for extra steak, there was no extra steak barely any in there my husband's was the same. I called to complain about how I was treated and she argued with me, note she was the "assistant manager" so not very professional at all and to top it off she hung up on me! I wasn't being rude, didn't cuss at her nothing. Never again we will not give...
