I stopped in at Cowboy Joe in Elko, Nevada, looking for a simple cup of coffee and walked out wondering why every café doesn’t aim this high. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by more syrups and powders than a general store’s got supplies. Hazelnut, caramel, Irish cream… if you can dream it, they can stir it right into your cup.

It’s like they handed a cowboy the keys to Madison Avenue. Every flavor is crafted with care, every detail speaking of pride and possibility. You don’t just order coffee here; you commission it. I hate to say this but I have been coming to this place since I was a kid and it's so unfortunate the people they have working there, two girls specific around 11 am on a Wednesday it's slow but we weren't welcomed and they both seemed annoyed with any question we had.
