First time going, my husband and I both tried what was recommended by the woman who helped us, the Tri-tip Nevada sandwich. It was delicious! However we were disappointed by how small it was, for a $9 sandwich you expect to at least get full. If nothing else, they should at least include chips and a drink for that price. Much of the meat in my sandwich was too chewy/ attached to gristle so that when I bit the sandwich it kinda pulled out and I had to discard some of it. My son's kids meal was $5.99 and included chips and a drink, his turkey sandwich was only slightly smaller than our grilled sandwiches were. My guess is that the fresh style deli sandwiches would be more filling than any of the grilled panini type sandwiches like we got because the bread is much thicker and it's stuffed with lettuce/ veggies etc.
The service was great, the atmosphere was clean and very comfortable and as I said before the flavor was AMAZING!! But I don't know that we'll be back any time soon simply due to the lack of value and the petite sandwiches. Attached is a picture of one half of my sandwich next to my son's...

I had never been here before, but the reviews and pictures looked very promising, so I went in to get a sandwich to go for my hike that afternoon. When I walked in I was instantly smacked in the face with the wonderful aroma of meats, cheeses, and delicious pastries... and I knew that I had made a wise choice!
Every single sandwich on the menu sounds amazing, but I went for the Dagwood... which I highly recommend. The fact that it was served on sliced bread made it even better, like it was handcrafted in my own kitchen...assuming that I was actually any good at hand crafting amazing sandwiches. Aside from the delicious ingredients, my favorite part about the sandwich was that even though it was piled high, it wasn't messy and the insides weren't falling out all over the place.
My only regret is that I took my food to go and was not able to enjoy the selection of delicious craft beers that they have. I will make it a point to go here any time that I am in Elko, and I suggest you...
Read moreDiscovered Ogi Deli using a Google Map search while we were on our recent cross country road trip from the east coast to San Fran. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service and food. We had the Basque tri tip sandwich which was beyond good. As many people mentioned, the bread in the Ogi Deli is on another level. When the owner/proprietor learned that we were driving across the country for Christmas, we were gifted two fresh out-of-the-oven cookies for the road. Never had better cookies in my life. A wonderful experience and highly recommended for folks looking for a great place to eat in Elko. I don’t write many reviews, but felt Ogi...
