Love the Stray Dog, Elkos best selection of draft beer. Wish they had Ninkasi and Revision beer. The only thing I don't like is they have poor ventilation for their cooking. When you go home you smell like grease and smoke. Food is good. And service is always awesome.

Love it! It's a pretty small and subsequently intimate spot. From dirty IPA's to Pilsners and even Sours, their selection is pretty vast.

Even their food is good. Everything is baked which bummed me out the first time we were there.....but that concern vanished as soon as I tasted the food! We travel a lot and the pizza is on par with some of the best I've had anywhere. This spot has become our regular spot on our travels when passing through Elko. IMO they position themselves perfectly between dirty dive and pretentious .... perfect! If you're lucky enough to get Lauren as your bartender....then you're...

What a unique and fun experience!!! I’ve been in the military for nearly 17 years and been to quite a few bars around the globe, but none as memorable as this one. My Fiancé an I loved the atmosphere and insanely corky personalities behind the bar and service they provided. So much so that we ate there nearly every night we were in town. The wings were phenomenal and the pizza was some damn good I’m still craving it! Can’t wait to dine here again the next time...

On the last night of a 2300-mile road trip, we decided to try The Stray Dog Pub in Elko, NV. Our waitress welcomed our dog Pebbles with a big Milk Bone, everybody wanted to greet her, and she settled in comfortably while we had a couple of pints. The onion rings were outstanding! We also enjoyed the option for fish and chips since my husband is pescatarian. This is a friendly bar with an authentic feel, and we’d be here all the time if...
