My wife and I ate here prior to attending our daughter's 2nd Master's Degree graduation ceremony at CWU. It was a very large place, as Arby's are. The problem with this big a restaurant that doesn't use a P.A. to announce when an order is ready for pickup is that you really have to listen closely for your name to be called. It's a good thing my wife's hearing is better than mine.
I ordered the Bacon'N Brisket Beef 'N Cheddar Sandwich. While the brisket in the sandwich was a bit meager and lacking smoke flavor when I at it at another Arby's, this sandwich was packed with meat. And this time I tasted the nice smoky flavor in the brisket. Along with the bacon, this was a winner of a sandwich. My wife ordered the Roast Turkey Ranch & Bacon Sandwich. It was also packed with meat. It had nice, fresh flavors, but, not surprisingly, after she tasted my sandwich she wished she had ordered it instead.
This place was clean, the guy who took our order was both patient and friendly. There's more than one Arby's where we live. I think I might try the brisket sandwich at the other one to see if it meets the quality of the sandwich I had here...
Read moreFirst let me say the two employees taking orders and serving customers that I witnessed were #1 Tip Top workers. They were obviously over worked and they were great at being polite, cordial, accurate and hustle. They deserve top pay. #2, We were there at about 9 PM Saturday 4-12 and the crew was slammed! We'd driven from Ogden Utah and were very tired...instead of making our own meal, we decided to stop in Ellensburg for fast food...instead of getting fast food we got a 20 minute wait...not a good thing when your traveling. The food was fine but the roast beef was way off to the side of the sandwich which again while traveling makes it hard to watch the road...(and another sign the Manager needs to hire more people for that shift.) At one point another person came in from her break (we sat looking from the booth window)...instead of jumping in to help, she took her time filling her personal mug with a soft drink (DURING COVID) and didnt lift a finger to bale her workmates...
Read moreI want an option for a pound roast beef sandwich. I've spend most of my life working my way up through the levels of roast beef but as of the last time I went to Arby's, the half pound was easy. Arby's biggest and best is now but child play to me. I feel as if I have peaked and thats a sad thing to feel at such a young age. Arby's, please add a pound of meat option so that can feel challenged again. Once the pound is instated, we will probably need to have another conversation down the road, but don't worry. The problem gets better as it goes along, because as you add more meat to your sandwiches, my lifespan becomes ever so shorter. I will eventually hit a wall and be eating my last Arby's sandwich on my death bed. I hope that your sandwich will be at 6 pounds by then. I can only dream, but you can more...
