If I could give this resturant a 0star I would. Tonight my husband and I brought our newborn son and our 4 year old daughter out to dinner to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary. We walked in the door and were greeted by the owner's daughter in a pink sweatshirt. She let us know thatbwe would need to order quickly because they were closing . As a waitress I respected her honest blunt nature 💙. I have been a waitress for 21 years since I was 19 years old. We were seated ....our server came over and since I had been here one time last weel with my father William Bogdan I knew what we go then and it was decent. My husband ordered the Carne Ranchera for 17.95 and I ordered the Steak fajitias for 18.95 . we ordered 2 minutes after arriving. I ordered mine with no onions and when he brought it out it was 50% onion and 30% meat and 20%green bell peppers. I let him know as he was handing it to me that I ordered it without onions...he apologized and said that.he could have it remade...I declined because I knew they were closing down the kitchen and didnt want to bother the wait staff who were kind and genuine. When we paid for our meal 50+ dollars ...I had a margarita...my husband is Hispanic and I am a white woman. Not sure if this had something to do with why the owners daughter decided to verbally assult me . She asked for the big piece of paper behind the tiny recipt. I do not have that paper. She got upset and said she needed it. Then when we let her know that we didnt have it she told us to leave and never come back. I was shocked and stunned that she would say something out of the blue like this to us. Of course she was speaking in spanish to my husband and in English when she adressed me. I let her know that I have PTSD and this really was upsetting me. She raised her voice and told me that she...
Read moreExtremely long wait and unattentive staff. Took almost 15 minutes to ask for more chips. They nickle and dime you for extra chips too fyi. No water refills after being there over an hour! Most importantly, I had the WORST Pollo a La Crema I've ever had. The sauce was not good and the veggies were an odd combination and extremely hard/raw and tasted frozen. Who puts raw carrots in polla a la crema?
I told the waiter I didn't like my food when the bill came because they never came back to ask how things were. I told the waiter the veggies were gross and I didn't like it. He came back and said I wouldn't have to pay for it on my bill and it will be refleted at the register. I went to the register and mentioned what the waiter said (politely) and the cashier said that I "picked off my chicken" and so they wouldn't discount the meal. She said that if I didn't like it I "should have told the waiter before I ate the chicken off my plate". She had no understanding of the fact that we had waited nearly 45 minutes for our food and the service was just horrible. Who in their right minds sends back food after waiting that long. I wasn't expecting a free meal and would have kindly accepted a discount. I definitely did not expect the cashier to be so nasty, rude, and argumentative.
I vow never ever to eat here again. The food was gross, the service was poor and slow, and the cashier (manager?) is beyond rude. Not that it matters that much, but the atmosphere inside is very muted, cafeteria style, and bland unless you get seated inside somewhere without windows which is a hole other story. I know it's subjective but the...
Read moreI went to Los Cabos today at noon. I ordered pork fajitas and a large margarita. The beans seemed to be from a can and were covered in about a quarter cup of melted cheese (pretty sure authentic Mexican does not include a bunch of cheddar cheese) and the rice was completely bland. The pork was SO chewy I couldn't eat it and the vegetables were bland. I have never had bland fajitas. Given that this was right at the beginning of the day, I have to think that the pork was left over and preheated at least once. I did let the waiter know that the food was bad and he offered to let me order something else. But to be honest, I didn't want more bad food. I was surprised that I did not receive a discount. In my opinion, I should not have been charged at all for the food that I didn't eat. I ate just a few bites and left the rest. Perhaps the drink could have been for free. The woman sitting behind me asked if my food was bad, and she said hers was too. I heard her tell the waiter so. About four hours later I was sick from the small amount of food I ate. I am letting the restaurant know about my experience. Ellensburg is full of great Mexican food!...
