I tried this place the other day with a friend and we were both pleased. We both had and enjoyed the rainbow soup dumpling assortment, split a bowl of the hot and sour soup and an order of seaweed with garlic. Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back. The soup dumplings were all yummy! The hot and sour soup was terrific and full of veggies and goodness. As someone who likes seaweed, I found the seaweed with garlic to be wonderful. Lots of garlic and spice. The decor was pleasant in a way that a mainly take out place can be. Service is the type where you walk up and order and then sit down. The table was a bit sticky like it could have used a good wipe down. I also would have preferred to be eating from real dishes rather than take-out containers since we were dining in. If take out containers is all they have, then I guess I'll consider just getting my food to go next time. I look forward to having the dumplings again and trying some of the other dishes, so there will definitely be a next time...maybe they'll get some...
Read moreThe whole meal (my mother and I) costed $61, and consisted of pork soup dumplings, rainbow soup dumplings, wonton soup, chili peanut sauce wontons, pork belly over rice, and pan-fried pork wontons.
First, the dumplings were mediocre. I ate the pork and rainbow (consisting of one of each type), and they all tasted pretty much the same. The meat was an odd texture, but overall the pork dumplings are the best ones.
Second, the wonton soup had some type of small shrimp-like sea animal in it (see picture). In my mind, it was just wontons in a broth. I love wonton soup and eat it frequently from a local restaurant so I wanted to try this one, but the little shrimps scared me because their eyes were looking into my soul.
Finally, the chili peanut wontons were okay, it took some getting used to. After the first couple bites it was alright! The pork belly was mediocre as well as it was kind of tough and overcooked, but the bok choy was good.
Service was okay, atmosphere was not entirely warm but it was efficient.

Read moreMy husband and I wanted some soup dumplings we saw on tv. So we look up places and found Dumpling District. Drove 30 minutes to pick up food and it takes you to a shopping center. There are no signs showing the restaurant. I ended up calling them and was told it was inside of a Food Hub ( sorry forgot the name). Got the food got home and it was not good at all. We got different kind of dumplings that had no flavor very bland. We also got a noodle dish and the noodles were over cooked so bad everything was clumped together we didn’t bother to eat it. The scallion pancakes were hard and tasteless. I was disappointed especially with the dumplings since that is what I wanted. For the price definitely not worth the drive or money. Try at...
