Arrived at 8am on a Saturday & was the first customer. I probably came a bit too early because most of the breads were still being brought out from the back. Btw I drove 20 mins lol

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENT thank you to the female associate at the front who brought the taro sweet cream buns after I inquired about them! And to the male associate who helped me check out!

Love taro it was a staple food growing up almost every meal rice, taro or green bananas.

Anyways enough nostalgia…I ended up spending $55 because I don’t make the trek down this way very often and it was worth every penny. Here is what I got and my personal ratings (i prefer semi sweet, pasty that is airy or layered). Please don’t let my review deter you I recommend you try what your heart desires! Our taste palettes vary.

-coffee 12 oz dark bitter no sugar or cream needed pairs well with sweet pastry’s Taro Cream Bun 10/10 the hype is real. Cream isn’t too thick just right consistency to go with the bun that was baked perfectly not too chewy or tough. Right amount of pull. Enough cream to last each bite -Milk Pillow Bread just heavenly! Great alone or with a jam spread. Pillowy goodness not sweet at all which is nice. -Sweet potato cake reminds me of a cross between pound cake & sponge cake. Delicious texture & tasty. -Foliage Sausage Bread not too oily or heavy can be eaten alone as a breakfast treat. Is the base a focaccia mix? Seasoned well esp if you like that salty taste but the sausage added on additional saltiness flavor (not complaining I loved it) but forewarning for those watching their sodium intake. There were edges that were burnt which was SO good it tasted almost like caramel. So you get that salty sweet flavor burst. -Cocoa Hazelnut Croissant very good airy & not overly sweet. -Caramel Almond Pastry only had a small bite because my son ate the rest but it was delicious -Strawberry Cream Cake and Cloud cream cake ARE VISUAL ART. Almost couldn’t eat it looked so beautiful. The cake itself is moist no tart taste or artificial taste. Right amount of sweetness very fresh. We fought over the cakes and who would eat the rest lol

Overall 1000/10 I’m going for a 5 mile run now to burn some of...

Ordered a shaved ice cream and they had totally forgot to make my order when i had told them about it the guy in charge of making them, he then said he found the receipt and said he was gonna make it right now. So then we waited and our order was ready. Come ti find out it wasnt even the right order. So i ended up letting him know that it was wrong and he told me he followed the receipt. Mind you i dont like mochi so i told him all i ordered was extra mango and extra drizzle. I dont get mochi because my family doesnt like it. Come to find out the other part of my family ended up with my order and i ended up with theirs. But my family already got theirs and practically finished it. Thats how long ive waited. So i kindly explained to him and let him know and he started throwing a attitude so i got upset and was about to just leave it like that and i guess he ended up noticing and told me to wait. Then ended up telling me the correct order i said yes because we dont like mochi. He then said okay I’ll just remove the mochi and then put the extra stuff and i said okay thank you . At this point i was very upset, im not the type of person to correct people and just suck it up but since no one in my family likes mochi no one was gonna eat it. So then he ends up coming back and while he is handing it to me he proceeds to tell me this is the only time im going to remake it the next time i remake it i will need to charge you for every time i do. I just said okay and walked away. MIND YOU HE DID NOT REMAKE IT. He just removed the mochi and added extra. So the ice was already melted… i got back to my seat and started crying of how...

🌟 Culinary Delight Unveiled: A Must-Try for the Discerning Palate! 🍰☕

In my quest for gastronomic treasures, I recently embarked on an unforgettable journey to this hidden gem of an Asian bakery. The flavors that awaited me were nothing short of sensational, and the experience was a feast for all senses!

🎂 Mango Layer Cake: The artistry displayed in the mango layer cake was a symphony of taste and visual delight. Layers of velvety, ripe mango intertwined with delicate sponge cake whispered secrets of perfection. Every bite, a journey through the vibrant orchards of Southeast Asia. It was an indulgence for the soul, capturing the essence of mango in its purest form.

☕ Lavender Latte: The lavender latte, a soothing embrace, transported my senses to a fragrant field in Provence. The delicate floral notes gently danced with rich espresso, creating a harmonious union of serenity and boldness. A true elixir that warmed my heart and invigorated my spirit.

This remarkable establishment offers an enchanting haven where flavors and cultures harmoniously collide. The serene ambiance, adorned with soft hues and cozy corners, beckons for moments of reflection and indulgence.

🌸 This is a treasure trove that celebrates the art of flavor and culture. Your culinary voyage will be guided by skilled artisans, and every morsel is a testament to their dedication.

Make your way to this enchanting bakery in Ellicott City, where each visit is a chapter in a gastronomic fairy tale. Discover the world through their creations and let your taste buds wander.

Mold grown in the bread Customer Beware! Mold in their bread! Photo attached. I bought some cake and bread from Tous Les Jours Bakery Cafe Ellicott City, stored it in my fridge overnight, and by the next day, it had mold growing on one of the cakes. Thinking this might just be a rare issue, I went back to the store with the photo today. However, instead of an apology or any kind of understanding, the store manager said there is NOTHING he can do (with a horrible attitude). I couldn’t believe the lack of respect for customers. So awful! Would I spend $100 in your shop, drive 40 minutes back to the store, just to lie about a $3 bread? To be clear, I wasn’t even asking for a refund — I would have let it go if I had encountered a decent attitude. Instead, I got nothing but rudeness. This experience was infuriating. It’s a shame that a bakery with such potential operates with such poor standards for both product quality and customer service. Think twice before you buy from here. Edited after owner's response: During the entire conversation, the store manager didn't even ask for the receipt or the date of purchase. Had he done that, I would at least pull up my credit card statement to show the purchase. Whoever read this review can be the judge.
