My husband & I have been going to this place for years. Food is always fresh & made-to-order, something that is hard to come by these days. The staff never ceases to amaze us each time with their genuine friendliness & attentiveness. Their restroom is ALWAYS clean! I had my birthday gathering with our friends in their private area a couple of years ago. It almost felt like home. The owners are great people, too. While the next statement has nothing to do with their 5-star rating from my end, I have to say that I so love the dresses of the lady owner.
It’s quite a distance from where we live. But we don’t mind the ride knowing that we get what we always expect. They also renovate their restaurant from time to time. They use utensils & plates that aren’t worn out. This place is simple yet decent and we really like that. Food is reasonably priced. You could see that everyone in this establishment are really hard working individuals. We have so much respect for that. While it’s already obvious by now, can’t help but shout this out: “We love Han...
Read moreWe stopped by this place on our way home from Baltimore, and it was busy. We spent $75 in pastries and drinks, but the smoothie we bought for our 4 year old was too much, so I asked for an empty cup and lid so we can split it in two, and the lady said no, she couldn't on non orders.! I was dumbfounded! So I mix my ice expresso with my wife's ice coffee and wash one of our plastic cups in the bathroom. Then we try and move half of the smoothie over to the empty cup, and of course a lot if it spills out. Then my toddler says it tastes like coffee, so we end up throwing that half away and were left with the other half.
Seriously??? Is this something a customer has to experience? Is this the highest standard that this business is capable of? Get a grip! It's a shame that with such a well known franchise brand, that something this frugal loses you customers. We won't...
Read moreBest for Korean-Chinese food in the area. It's hard to compare it to restaurants in Virginia as the Korean community is definitely a lot bigger and the food is definitely a lot better, but it's still pretty good. Service is quick and fast, and the ladies working there are amazing. I've tried various other Korean-Chinese restaurants in the Montgomery County region, but none of them are that good. Alcohol is also very well priced. I can never complain about the price of alcohol here and portion sizes are very big. Coming with a group of about 5-6 people, we just share everything and spend about $20 for tangsuyuk, jjajjangmyeon, jjambbong, 2 orders of donkatsu, and khan pung gi. Price is low, food is amazing, and it being in Maryland is a lot better than having to take American Legion Memorial Bridge to...
