Squisito Pizza and Pasta - Ellicott City — Restaurant in Ellicott City

Sadly, we were very disappointed with our visit. First, we tried to call in our order for pickup but the phone just kept going to a message saying they were too busy helping other customers to take our order, so we should call back in a few minutes. We did that on auto dial for 10 minutes with the same message each time. So we decided to drive there and place a takeout order. The place was completely empty of customers.

Only one of the half-dozen or so kitchen / counter workers was wearing a mask and none were wearing gloves. That did not give us a good feeling that they are taking COVID precautions.

The phone never rang once when we were there, so we called from our cellphone while waiting but we didn't hear the phone ring at the counter and we still got the busy message. We only saw 1 person come in to pick up an online order, so it's hard to accept that they were 'busy'.

Also, they didnt give us any dressing for the salad even though the printed order list had it included.

Kinda bummed that we can't trust...

I walked in at 8:37pm behind two other gentlemen who were promptly helped. The cashier young white guy told me to step up. I said hello politely and he just stares and states what do you want? I asked I’m unsure what to get, do you recommend the red pasta sauce or do you recommend the chicken piccata. He says it’s whatever you want. I said okay never mind then and stated what option I chose. Then ordered a tea, they told me they don’t have tea in stock I turn to the case and say what are those in the fridge all 3 servers/cashiers switch up and say oh well yeah we meant in a set flavor…

I ask if I can pay in cash the young girl says they don’t accept cash…So I pay with tap. A older white lady comes in after me and asks the same thing and they tell her yes we take cash. The obvious racism was appalling as I was one of the only people of color in the store. I recommend to my people if this is how they will treat us do not waste your money here. Spend it elsewhere where. Where we are wanted and people treat us...

Newly opened so we thought we would give it a try. First time we ordered a pizza. It was greasy, oily, heavy and all in all just not good. The soup was ok. It was not that busy and the wait for takeout was horrible. Many staff standing around not doing anything.

Thinking maybe we just went on an off day or got items that weren’t great we gave it another shot.

The sub was not great. The soup container was only half full (ordered the same size as last time and it was full).

The worst part this time was the wait took forever. It was like we had to wait for four pizza orders to be cooked before our sub and soup could be given. Meanwhile there were five staff there. Only two were working. The other three were too busy to work because they were complaining about and criticizing a female employee who wasn’t working.

Very unprofessional, was there a manager on site? If so it makes...
