
Best Main street in the world, hands down!!! Flood after flood & a few major fires but Main St EC is like a fine wine, it gets better with age. Well over 200+ yrs & it's still thriving. Even the worst flooding the town has ever seen in July 2016 only temporarily halted life as EC knew it for only a few months, but hard work, dedication, great neighbors,volunteers, complete strangers & a top notch County Executive Alan Kittleman along with the great MD Governor Larry Hogan, Ellicott City MD is back & better than ever before. As our motto says, "You can't keep a good town down." Thanks to all who helped out & a HUGE THANKS to our first responders for risking their own lives to rescue those in need. Unfortunately, we lost 2 people during the flood & a store(Precious Gifts) owner a few days later while trying to repair his store from the flood damage.
