Minus ⭐ This restaurant forgot to include food in my carryout order Thursday 10/28/21 and does not want to refund my money. (Missing Salmon and salad) Their way of resolving my issue was to give me a gift card when I paid cash for my order. That is like forcing me to eat there again when I have no desire. Had I paid with a CC, I would have disputed the order. Are they that pressed for $30? Today I stopped there to get my money and they said they cannot refund me. I asked another restaurant G&M's what is their policy, and they said they would've promptly refunded the money. Who is tired of businesses like this taking advantage of the folks who support them? #badbusiness #whereismyrefund #badcustomerservice The main issue is I was charged for a meal that I did not receive. I would like the same cash in exchange. I have frequented your establishment for years! I dined there a few weeks ago. I was first introduced when there was a location in Cockeysville. You are missing the point. My only option was a gift card and the manager admitted that there was no policy to refund from the register. Unless your policy changed, I will come to pick up the cash, else I would like the issue to be resolve by mail send a check I will reply to the email address on your website with my information. After this all this difficulty would I want a gift card???? #petty #givememymoney

Barebones Where we are now… We have been coming here since this place was next to “hair affair”, needless to say it’s been a long road. You come across many owners of bars in your life, and none have ever made me feel quite like the new owner or barebones does. It’s pretty amazing to see a place you almost gave up on and turn a 180. Yes the food here stunk, beer selection was atrocious and when you piped up on a social media the previous owner would more or less “attack you”. For me I encourage this, but for the direction this place is on target for now, I highly doubt that will ever be an issue again. Beer selection is night and day better, food doesn’t look like it was pulled from a bag sitting in the fridge for a week and the atmosphere is actually welcoming. The new owner (you should go in and learn his name and meet this person) is welcoming and gives back to the community in ways you couldn’t imagine. So now for what we get here: braised short ribs are crazy good, the beef sliders are really good, eat them with a Troegs Perpetual and have a fantastic evening. Or an apple martini, and a barebones salad (it’s actually good now). Oh and music is awesome on Friday and Saturday so there you go…..haters welcome plus we love Jessica cause she’s the best!!!

Went on thursday for happy hour. Its a Neighborhood bar/restaurant were the locals hangout. When I first walked in to use the restroom you could smell the pipes. Inside the restroom it was much stronger. Which was off putting. I sat at the bar whiich was pretty full. I seen seats available there were napkins on the bar top. I asked were the seats taken a man said very sharply yes. So i proceeded to the other side with friendly older guest.( fyi no one every showed up picture below. I take it that man didnt want me to sit near him) only 1 bartender for a full bar plus she had tovmake drinks for table guest so the wait inbetween getting acknowledged and ordering was very slow. I ordered the ribs with bean and mashed and wings(garlic Buffalo). The ribs are good the sauce sucks. The mash was old and flavorless i had to add the beans in the mash to make it taste decent. The wings I taste no garlic. Overall food is basic bar food definitely taste better if you are intoxicated. Atmosphere isnt very inviting. Maybe for the regulars. But i wont be back also they charge you if you use a credit card

Short and sweet review: This place had live music, is one of the only places open late on that side of 29, and looked like a lot of fun. Went here with a couple friends for a drink and some good food. We got none of that. The server greeted us in less than 5 minutes which was fine. The blue moons were warm the other drinks tasted watered down. Switched to just a Coke which was fine. The crab pretzel was delicious so we were back on track after the nasty drinks. By now the drinks were empty...No refills. The crab plate was done with...Still sitting here. A food runner brings a salad for one of us. No soup for the other one. After the salad was gone I flagged down the server and asked for the soup. Finally, another food runner brought it. 2 of us ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and 1 ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwhich. The server said that they were her favorites. A couple things: the cup of ranch we ordered was bigger than the "side of rice". The broccoli or the "Vegatable du Jour" as they called it was actually the vegetable of last week...It was cold, brown, and looked gross! The fries were good! The sandwiches tasted like nothing.. no flavor. Chicken was rubbery and tasted boiled. Server came over and asked how the food came out and I said The broccoli is cold and so is the rice. She said "okay" and then walked away. We ended up sending the food back because it was so gross. She didn't apologize, say sorry, defend the restaurant, bring the manager over, NOTHING.. .They do not care at all!!!! She asked one of us if we needed a box and I said " no it was gross" and she just took it away and didn't say a word. We never got refills..... We never had a manager come over to see if they could resolve it or offer us something else. It was horrible!!!! Only one other time have I ever had to send back food and the manager and server were both so embarrassed they apologized up and down. I still tipped the server $15 on a $30 meal because it wasn't her fault and she genuinely cared that we had bad chicken. Corrine from Bare Bones didn't even so much as say she was sorry the food was cold, beer was warm, and the chicken was rubbery. I WILL NEVER come back there and I always give places 2nd and third chances.. If she had apologized and tried to make it right, I'd never be writing this review. We paid for the gross food even though we shouldn't have!!!!!!!! McDonalds serves better chicken sandwiches and at least offers refills. Good luck Bare Bones, with staff like...

Service was not good at all. We sat in the bar dining area and was passed by the waiter I don't know how many times. Had to go to the hostess to see if we needed to place our order at the bar. Was told no by who seemed to be a manager and she said she would get our waiter to us. That was 20-25 minutes of waiting. Server came and took our ordered for coffee, soda and apps. When he brought the drinks I asked for more creamer. Food runner came out to bring the app. Server didn't come back for quite some time. When he did I asked for the creamer again. "Oh so sorry. I forgot". Keep in mind that the restaurant was not busy for a Sunday afternoon and we were overhearing other tables nearby having issues as well. Towards the end we wanted to pay the bill. Server brought the bill and walked away. He walked to a table a few feet away where 4 other servers were sitting and talking. We waited and waited for the server to come back to take our payment. It took my husband getting up from the table to the server away from his socializing to take the credit card so we could pay our bill. When the server came back he apologized and said "Sorry about that. People like to talk to me". I told him talking wasn't going to make him much money. Had my husband not gotten his attention we would have been there another 20-30 minutes waiting. I spoke to a manager and explained the entire service experience. He wanted to see what he could do to compensate. I told him I'm not looking for compensation because we won't be back. Told him that it's unfortunate to see that their staff can't serve properly. He apologized. I told him it's not my business that's affected, it's yours. You're going to loose business if services doesn't change. My husband and I don't go out a lot so when we do we would like to say we enjoyed the day out with good food and good service. Unfortuantely, it didn't turn out the...

We had a reservation for 13 people, so it wasn't a surprise that a large group was coming in, however, we were not provided with a server for our group. Rather, our server was working in the bar and running over to us from time to time. She was pleasant and relatively good, but not proficient to the extent one would expect in a restaurant environment. At least one order was incorrect, one was overlooked and an item not ordered was delivered. When the food came out, runners brought out the plates and just called out 'who gets the ....'. There was no order or organization to the food service. The plates were just handed across/up or down the table (by us) to those on the bench seat, and they were not properly served to those on the outside seats.

My entree (pasta) was lukewarm at its center and chilled on top and around the outside edges. It was not particularly flavorful or well-spiced - - the cream sauce provided the flavor (more like texture). On the plus side, I have to say it was a huge portion.

My silverware was not clean, even had bits of food stuck to it. As I reached for a menu in the table rack, my hand brushed against the ketchup bottle and I got old, half-dried, nasty ketchup all over my hand. The bottle had not been cleaned in a long time. It had ketchup all around the top. I would never have used it. As I walked past a server station on the way to the ladies' room, I noticed that there was some kind of sauce splattered all over the side of the station and the wall that had obviously been there for some time (much like the ketchup on the table). It was dirty and nasty.

I have been to Bare Bones on 2 other occasions, neither of which impressed me - - they were much like this one. If it wasn't for the family choosing the place to celebrate our Christmas, I would not patronize the restaurant. In my opinion, it is over-rated, over-priced, and not the cleanest...
