Hang-Ari = Scary ! You know why ? I ordered naengmyun with kalbi combo but the waitress who took my order said the naengmyun will be mool-naengmyun but I wanted bibim-naengmyun. She said they can do that for me so I said ok. First the bibim-naengmyun came out and then I waited for my kalbi, but it never came. When I asked the waitress, she said I ordered naengmyun only. Then she asked me if I wanted to order the kalbi now. I was almost done eating the bibim-naengmyun so I said no thank you. When I went to pay, I asked the cashier who the waitress was that took my order because there had been a mix-up and I explained what happened. Suddenly there were 3 waitresses and the owner standing before me. They forcefully insisted that I was the one who did something wrong! I did nothing wrong. I just ordered and didn’t get my correct order. They were acting kind of threatening. I said “Wow! This is a scary restaurant.” Then another employee came out and said, “What did you say?” and tried to fight me. A lady took him back to the kitchen. I said ”I’m a customer. You can’t treat your customers this way!” But they kept insisting in a threatening way that I was in the wrong. So I paid by credit card and left a tip of 10¢ on the table. As I walked out of the restaurant, the waitress followed me and asked if that 10¢ was a tip for her. I said “Yes. This was very bad service so that’s why the tip is so little.” Then she threw the money on the ground. If you ever eat here, hope that you don’t get into any trouble with the waitresses and employees. They believe that they are always right and the customer is...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this restaurant for years—it’s long been one of my favorite Korean spots. However, after today’s visit, I won’t be returning.
I came in for lunch with friends. The restaurant wasn’t busy (only 2–3 tables were occupied), yet there were dirty dishes left sitting on the table next to us throughout our entire visit. While the staff seated us promptly and brought waters right away, we were then left waiting for over 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We had to flag someone down ourselves, which ended up happening more than once since no one came to check on us the entire time.
Our water glasses sat empty, and no refills were ever offered. The service was virtually nonexistent, and we adjusted our tip accordingly to reflect that. Ironically, as soon as we got up to leave, the staff suddenly appeared and ran after us to question the tip. After we explained our reasons, the server became visibly upset and started muttering angrily in Korean under her breath.
To make matters worse, I ordered the tofu sundubu, which I’ve enjoyed here before, but this time it was nothing like previous visits—just broth and tofu, missing the usual variety of ingredients. Maybe it was a mistake, but paying $20 for a bowl of watery broth and tofu felt absurd.
It’s disappointing to see how far the experience has fallen. Unfortunately, after today, I can no longer...

Our orders was: Spicy haemol soondubu Soft tofu soup with seafood! We need bigger bowl for this soup, one portion is too good to be enough. The soup is served boiling, crack the egg that come with it and in couple of seconds the egg will be cooked! You either eat the rice in the soup or the other way, both still delicious as long as you enjoy it! Be careful, it’s spicy too! Yuuum😋
Haemol kalguksu Noodle soup with seafood mix and vegetables! This bowl of soup infused with shrimps, clams, mussels and crabs broth, homemade noodle and veggies! You can order a spicy version too, yuuum😋

We love their banchan, all are delicious, can’t get enough with these appetizers. If you’re planning to dine-in, come earlier before dinner time, or later after dinner time, this place is a local’s favorite restaurant, and they’re always busy. Even though they’re busy, they never neglected any customers, all servers are super friendly and caring.
We love their food! It’s a 5 Stars! We’ll try their bbq...
