I had never heard of this Mexican place before, and craving tacos. I saw that the reviews were pretty good, so thought I'd give it a try, this was a food truck, btw. I was very disappointed. My first time eating from here the food was not worth the money I'd paid. Very overpriced, and no flavor. I'd gotton 4 tacos and 1 barria taco. The chicken was very dry and burned on the edges. Rice and beans lacked flavor too, It's like they just slapped it together and gave it to me. What was my very first visit, is now my very last. I will never be going back here ever again, Absolutely Terrible!!! I don't even want to try a different location, I do know that there's one in Laurel Md, but after this experience I don't want to try any of there locations, period!!! Do yourself a favor and by pass this place. I mean I could have just gone to Chipotle and had a better meal for a more reasonable price. I also won't be trying anything from a food truck, ...

The rumor is true. After I checked my credit card transaction on my phone I saw my 44 dollar order became 49.40 so I asked for a receipt. It shows a 3% unknown transaction fee (even the guy there couldn’t explain to me why lol), then 6% tax, then another 3% fee for credit card. I then checked my previous transaction from 2 weeks ago on my statement and it was much more shocking. We ordered 9 tacos and 2 sodas and we were told the total was 33 dollars (9x$3+2x$3), so we paid without asking for a receipt. The price on our credit card turned out to be over 40 dollars! Even using the logic on the receipt we just got, the math still doesn’t add up to extra 7.xx dollars. I’m not going to argue with them to get my money back but for sure I will not go back again due to their dishonesty. If they really need money this bad, just raise the price and be upfront about it. Customers just don’t like the fact...

Well we normally get steak tacos, which are ok. Light on the steak, which is sometimes overcooked, but ok. today, I decided to try a steak burrito, and was severely disappointed. It seems Los Primos saves all the grizzle and fat from the steak to fill their "steak" burritos. I have included a picture of the meat from half of my steak burrito, and it was 95% fat and drizzle and inedible. What a rip off! It’s one thing, if food isn’t prepared well, but this was obviously intentional because the entire burrito was filled with grizzle and fat. That doesn’t happen on accident.

For the record, I dissected the second half of the burrito and it was...

Ordered the tacos: 1/2 barbacoa, 1/2 lengua. They are small but well filled; the cilantro, onion, cucumber/radish and lemon were fresh and the salsa is good. However, we are from South Texas and never, EVER get diced or chunky meat for barbacoa tacos (barbacoa, lengua nor cabeza!) My expectation is the meat should be slow roasted long enough that it shreds, so I won’t order these again. Definitely preferred the lengua, because the barbacoa was too fatty for my taste. Will come back and try the carne asada tacos.
