Blimpie — Restaurant in Elmwood Park

I just want to say that over the years since I have been coming to this location, it has dwindled a bit in cleanliness overall.

I recently went to purchase 2 sandwiches this past weekend, and I must say that the number of flies & gnats that I saw was bad overall. There are bugs flying all over the open ingredients (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc., etc..) and just in the establishment itself.

There is no excuse as to why this should be happening, as I visit other Blimpie locations and not one sign of flies all over..!!

The countertops where they cut and prepare could use some sprucing up altogether as well. I can honestly say I will NOT be eating here anymore unfortunately, since it's very close to my home.

The workers are great but no one seems to care about cleanliness there really. It's a shame.

As far as to why I still made a purchase, I was extremely hungry as I finished a long day of work, but was mindful of my order being prepared at all times...

I hope this location reads this review and takes this seriously to change and be better in...

I left this review on Yelp and now I'm doing it on Google because that's how RUDE the guy was. I would put NO STARS but that's not an option. I came here with my grandma and we were buying 4 sandwiches. We ordered the first sandwich and then someone walked in we ordered the second sandwich then the guy said "hold on let me just take care of this guy first" sooo I'm thinking that the guy was getting 1 sandwich...NOPE!!!! He got 2 WHY AM I WAITING FOR YOU TO MAKE A SANDWICH FOR SOMEBODY AFTER THEY WALKED IN AFTER ME?!? That was SO RUDE! And not to mention the guy making the sandwiches was SOOOO SLOW!!! I left the 2 sandwiches he did made and went to the Blimpie on Broadway SOOO MUCH BETTER, friendlier, faster, and I literally was in and out within 5 min this guy took 5 min to make 1 6" sandwich. Worst Blimpie experience ever! Very POOR customer service!! SAVE YOUR PATIENCE and go somewhere else!! What a...

I have not been to a Blimpie in almost 15 years and was excited to go. The service was good but let me tell you the sandwich was pitiful. I remember going there because they gave you a lot more meat then other places but now it is the reverse. I was watching them make my $9 half sandwich and almost walked out because when it was finished it looked like bread and mayo and I had to slam my head on the table to be able to see any kind of cold cut on the sandwich. the reason I did not just leave was because I really wanted to try Blimpie one more time and this will most likely be my last. I hope the owner or someone sees this and makes some changes, I always wondered why they were beaten by Subway when they slice there cold cuts fresh for every sandwich, this is the time period where it would make sense not 10 years ago. Hopefully they make some changes because I would like to go back but not...
