McDonald's — Restaurant in Elsa

If your talking about the location in Elsa Texas they deserve a super high rating they saved my life. My family and I were coming back home pretty late from Harlingen to Edinburg and we took the country road route going thru several little towns a since m a diabetic I was feeling a little dizzy going thru LA Villa so we rushed to get thru Edcouch to get to Whataburger since it was so late but I saw across the street that McDonald's had some lights on So I called and sure enough they answered I asked are u serving breakfast or can I get burgers ? No she said we have burger and everything. So we rushed on over and ordered my favorite burger the Mcdouble with extra onions and instead of mustards and ketchup I always ask for big Mack sauce a d of course large fries and a sprite. My wife had I think the Mcchicken and my daughter had a kids meal. It was fantastic! I was so happy and relieved that McDonald's was there when I needed them. Needless to say I felt alot better getting sustenance in my system but it didn't hurt my pocket book niether... SO GOOD JOB MCDONALD'S IN ELSA THANK...

The food is average for McDonald's and their staff is friendly, what sucks is that they don't even let you get your own soda or ice refills! People don't forget what McDonald's use to be, affordable and SELF SERVICE DRINKS, NOT ANYMORE!!! now with their new high prices you might as well go to a sit down restaurant, you'll get way better food, quicker refills and better service. I paid almost $20 for two shrunken in size McRibs combos!! You used to get a combo and pay one dollar more for an extra sandwich! How did we go from a good deal to a rotten deal in a year's time??? Here's their latest trick, the Fish Sandwich by itself up until today's visit (022724) was $3.99 regular price so I looked at the menu inside and the raised price is now $4.19 and now the "special price" on the marquee outside says $3.99 !! So McDonalds management really thinks everyone is so stupid that they're not going to notice the price hike once again!! Really people LET'S ALL QUIT GOING TO MCDONALDS and see what happens, let's...

Finally dined in 5/8 (after everyone has been open for over a year) after their unneeded renovation & I detest the changes: --purposefully reduced seating capacity, the tables & (most) chairs are bolted to the floor so they can't be adjusted, adding to the discomfort in dining --some tables are comically small (seats 2) --removed the middle seating & left a lot of wasted space to make room for 2 self-service kiosks --removed the soda fountain & now you have to wait for an available worker & bother them to get you a new drink --speaking of drinks, this has been a problem for a while, but sodas are always under-filled by about an inch -.- --as is the problem w/other restaurants, condiments aren't available to grab & go. As w/drinks, you have to bother workers for them --my mom said the sterile decor made her feel sad lol
