Cozzeria Pizzeria — Restaurant in Elyria

If i could put zero stars i would. I ordered two pizzas at 8pm yesterday and I've ordered the same thing every time and have ordered several times it always come really cheesy and has tons of bacon and it always comes to 24.99. This past time it was 27.75 for some reason even when I said that's more than what it usually is and they gave me excuses to charge more money. I said whatever basically and ordered it anyways for my wifes birthday. We get the pizza an hour later and it was horrible my bacon pepperoni pizza had severalpieces with no bacon and the other pieces has only a little at the top of the pizza. My wife's pizza s chase extra cheese and it had several pieces that has bare spots and no extra cheese not to mention the cheese was burnt and hard and nasty it had to be thrown away. I called back within three minutes of delivery guy leaving. They said they are closed i said I just had a delivery and explained the situation to the first woman the second woman got on the phone (the manager) and gave me excuses saying the bacon was really crumbly and was breaking into really small pieces n when they cut it it all fell in the creases when they cut it. (ya ok. Even if i didn't go to culinary school i know bacon doesn't disintegrate into nothing when cooked, as most ppl know that) but whatever I didn't care as much about mine cuz it was my wife's birthday and I only cared about them fixing hers. I told the manager the same thing I told the first woman about my wife's pizza. I got the excuse it was a bad cheese shipment. They got the wrong blend of cheese and was burning in the oven. They got sent the wrong cheese. So I asked then why did u guys make it and send it out bad or even sell it. If the cheese for your pizza is bad. No reply. I asked if they could remake hers and send it and they can have this one back. Just wanted what I paid for. (You go to a store and buy and item you open it at home and it's broke you return it and swap it out no harm no foul) but was denied instead got a credit for one pizza of what I purchased. So my wife didn't even get to have her pizza on her birthday. It's not ok but they didn't want to spend the ten minutes extra to make a new one and take care of the customer and resolve the issue. I just got excuses. So I called back today at 2pm to get my wife's pizza and i get a different woman. I told her what happened and she said I'd have to call back later as she didn't have to last night she has no idea about anything. As i said the manager said I had a free credit. I'm just wanting my wife's pizza that I paid for that wasn't even edible. She again repeated to call back later. This whole situation is extremely poorly handled and i will not order again. I've never called with an issue and haven't had a reason to call up until now it's been good so we are not scamming them i didnt even care about mine i just wanted to replace hers. That's all she wanted all day and at the end of it all had to throw it away because they wouldn't replace it and because how burnt and hard it was. Was completely inedible. I urge everyone not to order from. Here it's good pizza but if theres an issue it won't get resolved and you get to pay them your hard earned money for nothing. You get what you get...

It is in a small strip mall and has limited seating but you get the full Italian food experience through the food and the wonderful interaction with the owners. They believe to bring people back that requires amazing food and awesome service. However they go even further they treat you like friends/family. so much so my sister couldn't decide on a greek or seafood pizza , so the owner wanted to see her get an amazing first Cozzeria experience so he gave her a half/half which he never does on a specialty pizza's. which was so delicious she ate the whole medium ( but in 2 days). I had a suburb buffalo chicken sub. The bread was so soft and delicious with ample fillings. My wife had the stromboli loaded and was blown away by the softness and taste of the bread and dipping sauce supported by the bountiful fillings made it the best stromboli she has ever had!! my niece had the boneless mild wings which were huge the size of a golf ball size , with a lite breading and delicious homemade buffalo sauce. Just had a large veggie pizza with added pineapple delivered. I was charged $23.99. It was so dry even after requesting extra sauce. There was “very little” cheese and about 1 piece of pineapple per slice. And most of all it was sooo salty I could only stomach 1 piece. Not only that, the delivery driver walked off after giving me incorrect change back even after I gave him a tip. Tried to walk off with an extra $4 which is not cool as I’m on a fixed income. This was the first and last time I’ll order from them. I called back and spoke to the Manager. She said I’d have to drive up and return the pizza and they would make another pizza for me. Well, I’m in bed due to back surgery and that’s not possible. I requested that someone come pick it up. She said there was only one delivery driver (on a Friday evening) and that wouldn’t be possible.
