We went to Attractive Kitchen and Floors in Elyria to get an estimate on having our daughter's kitchen floor, dining room floor, bedroom floor and bathroom floor replaced. We also wanted an estimate on having the counter tops replaced. We were committed to shopping local and conveyed this to Rhonda, the sales person who we worked with. We also were very transparent with Rhonda in saying we were getting other estimates from local flooring people, specifically, Southwest Flooring in Broadview and Poshedley Floors in Brookpark. After having all three estimates, we decided to go with Poshedley for our floors and Attractive Kitchen and Floors for our counter tops. I came into the store to put a down payment on the work to be done, Unfortunately, Rhonda was not happy with our decision and quite rudely dismissed me when I told her we would need the measurement guy to come back out because he missed a measurement for one of the counter tops. Rhonda didn't want to send their measurement guy back out to correct their error. She threw the paperwork back into their folder and said, "just have your guy do it. I'm not going to send our guy back out". Apparently, Attractive Kitchen and Floors did not want to take our daughter's business, perhaps a $2,000 job was just too small a job for them. I'm not sure the owner of the business would agree, as I have my own business and I would be appalled at an employee who rudely dismissed a potential client for whatever reason. What a disappointing experience, especially since I researched this company's reviews and were impressed with their reviews. Hence, Attractive Kitchen and Floors lost out on not only our daughter's job, but unbeknownst to Rhonda, we are beginning a huge remodel in our 2860 sq. ft. home, and would most likely have went with Attractive Kitchen and Floors had they been more polite and accommodating. In my life, I've never experienced a sales person who so poorly represented a business...a business in which sales are the backbone of their existence. Moral of the story: In these financially challenging times, everyone is doing their best to work within their budgets. Customers who are committed to shopping local and not going to big box stores, are the type of customers you want in your shop. If you cannot treat these customers with respect, then your business will suffer. P.S. I went a couple doors down from Attractive Kitchen to Stewart's Appliance and ordered our daughter's appliances and dealt with Scott, who was professional, helpful and courteous, as he was on our...
Read moreI cannot say enough good words about our experience with Attractive Kitchens and Floors! Before we started our project I gathered estimates from many places. Some designs I waited for a long time either through emails or personal meetings with designers. Going back and forth through emails and hearing back from people was a nightmare, until I stepped into Attractive Kitchens and Floors store. Byron listened to my needs and created the design right there on the spot. I didn't need any appointment scheduled before hand which was a huge plus. He made corrections and was pantient as I changed my mind to some details few times down the road. There was nothing I asked for he could not make it happen. Custom cabinets, no problem! I do not know about the other sales people at the store but Byron, the owner was phenomenal! Always responsive within literally minutes. I would always recommend his store to everyone I know and will never go to any other place for cabinets ever again. Did I also mention the price was pretty...
Read moreIf I could give a negative star, I would. I went to the showroom after calling first. The gentleman I spoke with seemed kind and friendly. He told me to stop by any time. I stopped by a few days later. This is were the wheels came off this apple cart. There was only one employee there who was helping another customer. I spent the time waiting by looking at the displays. When the customer left, the lady came over to help me; I was looking at the cabinet display. I explained that I am wanting to remodel my kitchen. She went over the cabinets they have to offer. She then asked me to look them over, choose 2 and returned to her desk. I went over to her desk and gave her my 2 choices. She took my information and said someone would call me. I left thinking this was a waste of my time. I haven't heard from anyone. If your company isn't interested in my project, then say so and don't waste my time by having me come in and pick out cabinet fronts...
