When you walk into The Bargain House in Elyria, you enter an amazing maze of furniture where you can find hidden treasures that may go home with you that very day. My good friend recently found a unique little cabinet that she liked so much, it’s now sitting in her living room! I discovered a beautiful solid oak table with 10 chairs….almost exactly what I had been looking for! A very fair price, including delivery, was negotiated. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Dave for the effort he put forth so that I now own this beautiful dining set. My only disappointment is that my table originally had 4 leaves, but 2 were misplaced by the previous owner. Dave promised me that he would try to locate two more leaves. When Dave lets me know he now has those two leaves for me, I will definitely change this rating from four to five stars! UPDATE Dave is a man of his word! He located an additional leaf for my table, and he is continuing to look for one more! I so appreciate his effort in this area. When I went to his store today, not only did I come home with the additional leaf, but also a small four drawered wooden cabinet that I was excited to find. Thanks, Dave! I went in looking for a couple end tables and walked out with a complete maple bedroom set, a John Widdicomb 1900's Tiger Oak Dresser, a couple of Lane end tables, and a smile on my face, plus a couple of Lu Van accent record cabinets.

Dave is amazing to work with. He is an encyclopedia of knowledge (as are the guys running the shop) and has a passion for vintage quality furniture. He will always be on the hunt if you are looking for that matching piece you need.

The prices are modest compared to what you would pay online, or honestly anywhere else. The store is well organized, but loaded with amazing finds. He is always getting in new inventory and a lot of his items aren't online so you're best bet is to stop in from time to time.

This is not Goodwill. You aren't going to find anything cheap here, when I say cheap I mean quality. Everything is flawless and everything is priced well below retail. You are not going to find better value for your money than right here. Worth every penny and worth the trip out.

They are also easy to schedule delivery to your home. Again, highly recommend coming here to find just absolutely stunning...

We had such a good experience here. We saw a beautiful dresser on Craigslist so we called to make sure it was still there before we made the 40 min drive. When we got there the parking lot is right next to the entrance which is convenient. Upon entry you see they have curated a collection of furniture pieces that are all in great condition. Dave, the gentleman I spoke to on the phone, greeted up promptly and then the entire time we were there was attentive and patient. He wasn’t pushy at all just listened to what we wanted and made some suggestions. He knew the history on all the pieces we were looking at and was very informed and helpful. The one piece we were looking at had a loose drawer so Dave immediately had one of his employees fix it while we continued to browse the selection he had of pieces that spanned from the 1800’s to current day. The pricing on all of the pieces was fair and we were more than satisfied with all the pieces we purchased from them. The employees all took special care when loading the pieces into our van.
