â 0/5 â FRAUD ALERT
On April 19, 2025, I discovered an unauthorized charge of $116.77 on my Chase account from EMELINAS RESTAURANT 3 SAN JOSE CA. I was absolutely livid, as I have NEVER been to this restaurant, NOR have I ever ordered anything from them.
I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, but the manager was extremely dismissive. I clearly stated that I had not used their services in any way, yet he hung up on me mid-conversation â but not before sarcastically saying âFeliz Navidadâ in Spanish. It was not only unprofessional but also insulting.
Iâve since filed a fraud claim with my bank and urge everyone reading this to check your bank statements carefully. There is clearly something shady happening with Emelinaâs Restaurant, and their management shows zero accountability.
Avoid this place at all costs. Fraudulent charges and rude behavior should not be tolerated. I had to give this restaurant one star because the system wouldn't let me post with zero â but it definitely...

The moment we sat down, I realized this is not a family-friendly restaurant at all it felt more like a bar. People were drunk, loud, and obnoxious. When we finally asked for the menu, the waitress told us we couldnât order anything unless we paid $30 per person for a âprivate eventâ that wasnât even starting for another two hours.
There were no signs anywhere, and nobody mentioned this when we were seated. I told her we just wanted to eat and werenât interested in paying for something we didnât even know about, and she told us to leave right there in front of everyone, completely embarrassing my family.
Unprofessional, unorganized, and definitely not a place for families. Iâll never come...
Read moreI visited this restaurant since apparently opened not too long ago. Iâve eaten at the other location (Emelinaâs 2), so I thought itâll be good as well. The service was ok, the food was not great, considering that the tacu tacu is an easy Peruvian dish to cook. Rice was over fried, and parts were burnt, and dry. I asked for a medium rare steak and half was medium rare and the rest was medium with a chunk of fat that was rubbery and hard to chew. The chicha morada drink was decent. I personally wonât return and will stick to...
