Not much to tell.. I don't feel this library is associated in honoring the historic moment of the Politico evolution of civil rights that all man are created equal.. as part... I see this as a growth of sponsoring a name for inventory.. In false propaganda in business ethnics... Not that of human ethics.. I... as a decent to Dr. Martin Luther King dreams.. See no dream but the chain that education is not open to those of lesser value.. As the color bond is green.. The sky is still as blue.. As the rain that lay foundation for growth. The library hold a small portion I call life Plantation.. in this.. I hear teacher.. teaching that this section is only dedicated in honoring of his the Legacy as he as a man of lesser but I am sorry to say.. he also fought for segregation and that what is the small section they call his.. Deication-segregation. So where is the teaching that all equal are as great of that of greater value.. When(Knowledge) equal become a unsolved equation that is taught.. Without the positivity that in learning.. their is power that teaches us that words shall be the equivalent of learning to over come our deprivation.. substitute de Minas.. In learning that all being are privileges without being discriminate... That all human shall not be blemished in subtitles...... So I feel that when you use a person who gain a Nobel Peace Prize as candidate of Humanity sacrifice .. Then the Library should be that of freedom... that all great thing that are in books.. teaches us to be civil without revolution.. of understanding treaty in resolution. His name should be used as a memorable structure that we can over come cause in history.. Great man has conquer.. Which teaches us these thing in Geographics... mathematics.. Scientifics... As well as evolution that the writing on the wall... The Book of life.. Shall be shared with all. Not certain individual.. All of God contributors.. Which is that of you and I... The real stories writer of life for our children to flourish as well as... Becoming equal value as greatness for there...
Read moreI find it odd that there are complaints about homeless people (among whom veterans and working taxpayers can be counted) being present at the public library. In this we see the complaint isn't really about homelessness (which is a problem I can't see too many people being engrossed in solving) but about having to see uncared for or displaced people in public. So...if you didn't "qualify" for a home for any number of reasons with no political will to eliminate the conditions of the problem withstanding..where exactly would you go, beautiful!? Assuming you did not have a vehicle and you weren't inclined to remain in that cramped, confined space to spare others the knowledge of your existence what would you do during your free hours? And during inclement weather? To stay out of sight is quite hypocritical yet fitting of an ask coming from the loathsome but historically recurrent "Me! Me! Me!" Generation. I think culture and upbringing are the problems here and possibly one else thing more pervasive. In any case, I don't think we'll see substantial changes in homelessness until we see changes in how the homeful population approach issues of family and community relationships. All these people had to be someone else's responsibility at some point in their lives, right? None of us are made to be flawless or infallible but it would seem more than just the homeless people either don't care, didn't try or just gave up out of lack of ingenuity and weakness of character. Sucks to be...
Read moreThis is a shared library between San Jose State University and San Jose Public Library. It has a lot of materials, is open 7 days a week, and is open late. The library is well kept, has plenty of quiet areas to study in and have some great views in the higher floors. It is easily accessible to public transportation, and there is a parking structure across the street. Restrooms are clean. There is a Tully's coffee shop and another coffee shop in the main lobby. There is a well stocked kids area on the 1st floor and they have a schedule of free activities to keep your kids motivated to learn. There are usually activities for adults as well, such as talks on San Jose. There are many homeless people here trying to get warm, use the internet, charge phones, or simply trying to get off the street and in a place they will not be hassled, and they are harmless for the most part. There is security at the main entrance, and I see them patrol the floors, and they are friendly. The library is safe, and a really good resource for everyone. Checking out materials is easy with the self check out system, and returning is even easier. You can return books to any San Jose library too. Get yourself and kids a library card and make the best of...
