07/14/22 Arby's get it together. I entered the store because no one was in the drive-through or parking lot. It took almost 9 minutes to be recognized that I was standing in front of the register to place my order. Katherine was nice. My issue came once the female cook Commenced preparing my food. The reason has caught my eye because I just witnessed her coming from outdoors. I don’t know if she washed her hands. She had one glove on doing too many tasks touching her face, hair, the handles on the fry baskets, and much more. Once my food was ready out of the microwave, she began to bill the gyro sandwich, and now everything she touched is possibly transferred to my food. Not cool. I asked the cashier, Katherine, could she remake my food because of what I had witnessed. Katherine gave me a thumbs up, and we were good to go this time, gloves on and protected and safe. Now I have my food, my fries, and my bottle of water. Here are the facts. Arby’s food was not my favorite this time. The reason being despite my Gyro meat being nuked in the microwave, it came out unreasonably warm. The fries were extremely hard and hot, almost as if they were double fried. I’d ask for curly fries; instead, I got a little smiling & frowning face fries due to them being all broken. They may have been the last fries in the back, who knows, but this was by far an authentic horrific experience from Arby’s. PS try to keep the dining room area clean. There’s no excuse for it to be dirty. There was absolutely no one there but me...
Read moreThey have one person there that can get things done correctly and that is one of the managers, Lisa. In the evenings they close the lobby at a certain time but there are no signs large enough to see the time, so you have to get out and walk to the door only to then have to go thru the drive thru. The late shift is usually a bunch of young people and it takes forever to pick up a door dash. Sat there a couple of nights ago for 20 minutes. That is longer than the entire dash should have taken me. No compensation for my time and it makes for a bad típ and bad rating. It would be nice if they could work out a system where they make the order when they get it, instead of waiting for the dasher to get there and then finally getting around to it. It would also be nice if someone could get them on task in the evenings so it doesn't seem like a party store. How do I wait 20 minutes for food that they are still cooking and then the order be cold? Doesnt make a...
Read moreWell, we liked the old location a bit more. Sadly, they were shorthanded staffed when we visited Monday. The lasagna & spaghetti were awesome, but the eggplant parmesan was off. Really off. Back when Miss Bonnie was still alive we had a conversation about eggplant - to salt, or not to salt. I'm in favor of not salting and buting smaller, younger eggplants, but perhaps their food service brought them bigger older ones. My eggplant was way to salty & had an off "fishy" taste this time, not typical. It's usually outstanding, and I hope it will improve. Meanwhile, I'll stick to lasagna & bolognese. Or scampi. Garlic knots are always outstanding when hot. We are from out of town and have visited them numerous times over the last 15 years when having multiple surgeries with multiple family members at Emory Orthopedic & Spine Hospitmembers over the last 18 years....
