I don't know what has happened at this Wendy's, but some one from the head office should investigate. This used to be a relatively decent place, but it has gone downhill in the last 2 years. I had eaten here regularly because my company does quite a bit of work in the area, but I don't think I can in good conscience anymore. Some of the staff reek of smoke, and not cigarette smoke. Some of the workers seem to be good people just trying to work and some of them seem to think they should get a check just for showing up. Two of the women, one who might be a team leader or manager and the other who I think is a regular hourly worker, seem to spend most of their time huddled up talking, laughing, flirting and looking at their phones, while others are doing actual work and serving customers. I overheard one of their conversations once and it's not the kind of thing you should discuss at work. I saw one worker laid out in the floor sleeping once- the dining room was closed but you could see through the windows when you entered/left the drive thru.
The manager, Gregg, seems unstable. I have witnessed him criticize staff in front of customers, speak to them very unprofessionally, act erratically, he seems overly stressed when a rush starts and he usually gets in the way of the staff who are trying to work. I was waiting in the parking lot for a few coworkers to join me and I saw the manager and another male worker taking out the trash and within a minute, smelled marijuana smoke. Read more1st time I have ever canceled my order because of frustration. I understand sometimes a car has a large order, and some times you are training a new person, but who ever was the shift manager on 4/12 at 10PM should really be chastised for not helping out her team where it was most needed, the drive thru gal was obviously struggling. I pull up and there is a car ordering for about 4 people. I order 2 Large Chili's and a medium frosty, I look at the screen and inform her she did not ring up my order right, and it was a medium frosty not a small. She said she would fix it, thinking nothing of it I drove up. 20 mins later the 1 car in front of me finally gets their order and leaves. My turn. she restates my order incorrectly, I correct her, she cant figure out how to ring up a medium frosty, tries to get help, opens the window back up and asks me "2 small frosty and 2 Large chili?" I restate that it was 2 Large Chili's 1 medium frosty. She and I guess her manager were at the window register trying to figure out how to fix it. She opens up the window holding two medium cups, she asks me "2 medium frosty? " told her to forget it I was done. Thing is that I could see that there were at least 4 orders ready to go on the counter. Maybe she was new, never seen her before and I visit this location often. Read moreI've been down to Wendy's many of times. Since I put one in Emerson Georgia. But this last few times I've been down there it's getting worse and worse. One day I got down there I was in the Drive-Thru at 10:29 they open at 10:30. That manager actually came out the back door and told me to move out of line because the buzzer was going off inside ask her I said man you only got a few more seconds before you open up she told me just to move my car how rude can you be is bad enough they don't serve breakfast then there was another time I went down there I got me a baconator first time I ever got I didn't want one on the pretzel bread they told me they have one on regular bread so I got it and I came home to eat it when I got home and unwrapped it there was only two slices a bacon on it and I just have pieces so one slice of bacon on a baconator can you believe it. The manager that runs this place when it opens up at 10:30 should be fired on the spot she's rude hateful she does not deserve to be a manager I really hope Wendy's goes out of business in...
