Came for brunch with the Mrs. at 12 p.m. yesterday and we were immediately seated. However, you can add your name to the Yelp wailist via the Yelp app. They also have a standalone parking lot ( Not too big, but decent) and a few parking spots right next for in another small parking lot. There is street parking as well. They most def had a crowd when we walked in. However, the place had inside seating and covered outside seating. Plenty of seats for all types of party sizes.
Our orders were taken in a very timely manner. Food and drinks were brought out with that same manner.
I had a hot chocolate with oat milk and she had a latte. Both were so good. No complaints at all
All the food was hot and exactly how we wanted it to be. I am very very very picky about everything I eat and I want my food exactly how I ask for it. In particular, I wanted my bacon crispy and not burnt, per usual. Well... they did not disappoint. Delicious bacon, tasty cheesy eggs and fluffy pancakes to die for. My wife had overeasy eggs, bacon and the French toast. She said that the French toast tasted as if it had rum in it. Honestly, I tasted it and it low key did taste like it did..lol.
To finish this all of, we both had a Bellini and it was served in a wine glass and I thought that was distant because most times it is served in a flute glass. Small thing to notice, but still a notice indeed.
My wife stated that the restaurant has contributed alot to the community because of all the plaques and pictures that were around. You can tell that they care about the people that they serve and the community members. We both throughly enjoyed our time here and most certainly will be going back. She wants to try the Farmers...
Read moreWhere do I begin? A friend of mine and I went to this location for breakfast. We walked in, waited a few minutes, and then was seated. We’re sitting there 12 full mins before a manager type person comes over and brings us water. 3-5 minutes after that he takes our drink orders. 15 mins later, he finally comes back and takes our food order. (So if you’re keeping up with time, over 30 mins just to get the food order in). While we’re sitting there and waiting, 4 other non black customers are seated directly next to us. I kid you not, 9 seconds after being seated they were greeted with water, asked about drink orders, etc. Back to our table, we get our food delivered by a server (mind you a server has never came to our table, greeted us, served us, nothing). She drops the food off and that will be the last time we ever see anyone until WE ASK for the check. I mean that wasn’t even coming. NOT 1 TIME, were we asked if “everything was okay?” “Did we want our empty cups of water filled up?” “Did we need extra napkins?” “Did we need any to go boxes?” Not a thing! But the table next to us, had 3 people serving it. Water refills before anybody even took a sip, food orders within 5 mins of being seated. My friend and I couldn’t believe the blatant disrespect we were receiving. It was as if our money didn’t spend the same way that their money spent. I’m not saying the manager or workers are racist, but I AM saying THAT THERE WAS A CLEAR DIFFERENCE IN THE TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS THAT DIDN’T LOOK LIKE OTHERS. Do what you want with that information. I would love for the owner of the establishment to read this, because what an...
Read moreCame here with a group of 5 people and we had to wait for a little bit. They don't take reservations so do plan accordingly. The staff was super friendly and I liked the layout, decor, and the use of positive/negative space for the dining area.
We ordered the huevos rancheros, wet breakfast burrito, new denver omelette, and chicken chorizo. All the dishes were tasty and consistent. Overall I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars because I wouldn't say there was any one dish that stood out in particular. Their food was just consistent. Using the right ingredients in fairly standard combinations. I had the breakfast burrito and it was as expected. A large burrito with tons of filling inside. They didn't skimp out on the chorizo and the sauce had just enough kick. I did feel that they overwhelmed the dish with the sauce and made the burrito super soggy. I'm sure others prefer it this way, just not me. They had slices of avocado on the top and sour cream. Everything worked for the dish and it was filling. For all the dishes, I thought they were a little light on the seasoning but you can fix that accordingly.
One thing to note is that they do not have fresh squeezed orange juice, they serve Odwalla orange juice.
Service was great, the waiter came and checked in on us every now and then. He took his time to explain the menu to us.
They do have a small parking lot near by but it is usually full. There's street parking.
A great place for breakfast/brunch. I would come back but I would like to try other...
