The ambience at this place is remarkable. They did a great job with their renovation first time here since the rebuilt.. The place has fire pits in the front parking lot in the back. They have a wine bar in the front of full bar in the back, which is very dimly lit with candles on the tables, beautiful bar, very cozy, clean and comfortable. The decor is beautiful the table settings, the paint on the wall had a lot of character. The staff was very friendly. We had happy hour. I had a champagne with a cherry, which was 8$ had a pizza on a board like a flatbread 9$ Great price That’s the happy hour price between 3 PM and 6 PM ordered a French onion soup. It was very good. My Husband had a burger and fries. The burger could’ve been larger, you have to pay five dollars extra for friesbut it was tasty it didn’t fill My Husband stomach He said it was too small. I like more cheese on my pizza. The service was excellent you have so many different rooms you can attend. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. Location is great. The restaurant sits on a little island . With them closing a lot of landmarks like Chevy’s, Hs Lord ships Emeryville needed something to add to the neighborhood and I think this place is it.. to the owner well done Btw Great selection of music - Love It

I’ve seen happier faces at the DMV than I did at this restaurant. Upon arrival, the host barely acknowledged us, and when we left, she didn’t even say goodbye. Perhaps it was an off day, but it left a poor impression. The server was professional but seemed unfamiliar with the menu, which didn’t help. The food itself was disappointing. It tasted like it had come straight from the freezer—watery and flavorless. And calling what they served "ceviche" was an insult to the dish. A squeeze of lemon juice doesn’t make something ceviche. The chimichurri was passable, and the meat was decent, but nothing extraordinary. As for dessert, the chocolate Oreo dish felt store-bought. I’d bet $100 it wasn’t made in-house. For what they’re charging, the food quality just doesn’t match up. That being said, the restaurant is in a beautiful location, and the ambiance is great. We visited on a Friday evening when only two other tables were occupied, and with all the extra staff, we expected top-notch service. Surprisingly, it was the runners who provided the best service of the night. I didn’t notice any managers present, which is probably why the finer details were missed. They really need a solid floor manager to oversee the experience.

I ordered the prechuto pizza and was not disappointed. Perfectly cured and cooked, thin sliced prechuto, on a pizza good for two with cheese that melts in your mouth with a creamy taste. I order the Corsican liquor drink, amazing drink that consists of Rittenhouse rye, Smith and cross jamaican rum, velvet falernum, sweet vermouth, and bittersweet. Tastes like a Manhattan with delicious extras. Parking in back. Great restaurant area with good ambiance and comfy seating. Bar area nice and cozy with great service for full restaurant menu and crafted drinks and beer. Special thank and shout out to the bar tender Shay who made my drinks, and srvwd my food order, made to perfection and friendly service!! Thank you! I have been meaning to visit this place for over a year since I visit this area for work. Finally glad I came in and wish I did earlier! Food was so good I forgot to take a pic until I almost finished.

The service was really great. We loved the ambiance. Several of us mistakenly thought it was a Black owned restaurant because the vibe was so good… and then we tasted the food and knew it wasn’t Black people responsible for it.

The food. None of us were impressed. One woman got fish that tasted old. Another woman got an onion soup that tasted very different from the last time she visited, which was pre-remodel. Two of the women got the watermelon & feta salad; several of us tasted and we all immediately said “old/spoiled watermelon.” Two of us ordered a pizza that had off-tasting sausage. (The menu looks good. The concept of many dishes was great; the execution was not.) I can’t tell if the chef is the problem or if the owners are forcing them to purchase low quality produce & food to cut costs, but they will not survive serving plates like that, especially at those prices. One woman did enjoy her margherita pizza (but she was also eating her first meal of the day at dinner, so she may have just been hungry).

Most of the party enjoyed their drinks although some thought they were too sweet and one woman could taste the sweet & sour mix they used for the margaritas. The butterscotch pudding is overly sweet, but the sea salt saved it & I was happy with it overall. I also enjoyed the calamari, although the portion size was not great.

Our conclusion was that - given the live jazz on Friday nights - this might be a place for drinks & appetizers before going to do something else… but not for us. We...

Lousy food and TERRIBLE service.

Went on a Monday night, the restaurant was NOT busy at all. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. I sat indoors (nice ambience) along with 4 other people scattered about the restaurant. What staff passed by several times and never acknowledged me or my date. 20min in we were brought water. When I asked for ice and lemon wedges, the waiter looked as if I asked him to reveal who killed Kennedy 😳 😑 I received the ice about another 20min later, the lemons were never provided.

Literally 15-20min passed and we were asked "what do u want to eat?"

Food came out close to 30min after ordering ( medium rare flank steak and fish tacos)

My dates food came out first, mine arrived about 15min later. Our cutlery arrived 10min AFTER my food. No napkins were provided. When we requested more cocktails, I never received mine, his drinks arrived 20min after ordering...... EVEN THOUGH THE BARTENDER WAS ABOUT 10 FEET AWAY AND DOING NOTHING!!!!

At the end of the meal the water literally SLAMMED down the check without a single word and walked off.

Please be aware we were NEVER once discourteous to our server in ANY capacity (despite his blatant rudeness and disregard for our minimal request)

THE FOOD:

Steak was so so (didn't seem overly fresh )

Tacos were HORRIBLE, tasty super weird and fishy.

Stay aware...... YOU'VE...
