Well, For a park this size it has just about everything one could ask for. If you are prone to travel by bike, the path alongside Doyle Street might just be the nicest in the entire Bay Area and connects Emeryville to both Oakland and Berkeley.
Just to top things off, the park and surrounding areas are generally spotless, people friendly and there are clean amenities to keep you hanging around for a spell.
If you are raising children there is a playground that seems popular and safe.

Kids love the modern merry go round. The meadow is used by adults for parties, sports, and houseless people.
