My experience with Sandbox VR has been nothing short of infuriating.
During our session, I placed my designer sunglasses in the cubby area provided for guests. After we finished playing, they were gone. No one informed us what happened, and we were left confused and concerned.
Only after I repeatedly pushed for answers and insisted on reviewing the security footage, did the location manager reach out — several days later — and told me that an employee had taken the sunglasses out, allegedly because they “belonged to the group before us.” This explanation was never communicated to us at the time, and frankly, it’s hard to believe. If that were truly the case, why wasn’t anything said immediately? Why were we left in the dark until I demanded transparency?
What makes this even worse is the behavior of both the local and upper management. I have sent multiple messages, followed up for weeks, and received no resolution, no compensation, and mostly silence. My concerns have been ignored by the service team, and upper management has done nothing to address or even acknowledge the situation.
This wasn’t an accident. It was a mishandling of personal property by their staff, followed by a cover-up and a total collapse of customer service at every level.
