⭐️⭐️BEST PIZZA YOU'VE EVER HAD⭐️⭐️ yup that's right, it REALLY is that good. I'm a pizza snot and it Takes a lot for me so say such a thing but I truly mean every word. This quaint little pizza shop oozes warm and homey goodness the moment you walk in. It's not fancy, it's not flashy, it's simple, clean and filled with heart. The woman who waited on us was extremely nice and genuine, hard to find genuine these days. She provided prompt service despite the influx of walk ins picking up their orders. The most amazing thing is that every person that walked in, she knew by name which speaks volumes. They appreciate their customers and they have a lot of repeats. Only a few tables here as they mostly do takeout but the rustic wooden booths made for a great atmosphere. We were told immediately that it would be about a half hour for our pizza... THE DOUGH IS MADE IN HOUSE, EVERYTHING IS FRESH!.. which brings me to this... Listen, if you're gonna complain about waiting for fresh food, go to McDonald's this isn't fast food, these people put HEART into EVERYTHING that's made, seriously. If you can't appreciate that, don't complain, just go elsewhere. Nothing bothers me more then a restaurant that's doing everything right and people that just want to complain about the wait like Karen's. It's not a secret or a surprise, they are very transparent about their Wait times. They want to do it right, it takes TIME ! If you appreciate the heart that's put on every plate and don't mind waiting, this is the place for you. It's worth the wait, I promise. Seriously the sauce from the marinara to the pizza sauce is perfectly balanced and incredibly fresh. You KNOW fresh ingredients when you can taste every one. The perfectly cooked pizza arrived and no flop! It's crispy, not burnt and absolutely AFFINITO!. Oh and the Zeppoli (sp?) Oh, my God.... it's like funnel cake on steroids lol incredible! I really can't say enough positive about this place. I can't recommend it more highly. PLEASE understand good food Takes time and there's a lot of love in this place. Be patient, meet some new people while you wait, you'll Be glad you...
Read moreHands down probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. I'm originally from New York and beings this establishment said they make a Brooklyn style pizza the family and I were excited to try it. Well to say the very least highly disappointed, yes the menu does say it has a "well done crust" but well done crust and burnt crust are 2 totally different things. There is a picture of pizzas on here from a review where the crust is lightly done. So which is it dude, do you under cook or over cook pizza all the time. can you ever make a pizza that has a non burnt crispt to it, done in an "artisan" way as you would say it. The cheese on the pizza was crispy. We also got 2 pasta dishes that had no flavor to them what so ever. Chicken and broccoli with a "garlic and olive oil sauce" that just tasted like straight olive oil. As I read on a prior review from a young lady, the owner of this establishment blamed it on "lack of salt". If you're a cook, you DONT need salt in a dish like this for it to have flavor. We waited over an hour for 2 dishes and pizza slices. I will also follow that up with we were told that it would be abiut 35-40 minutes. I've honestly been in larger Italian restaurants with busier nights and the food was impeccable. With a 40 minute turn around time. The only positive experience here was the extremely apologetic and understanding waitress. I have seen multiple reviews on here that are negative and instead of swallowing his pride a little bit and maybe taking constructive criticism, the owner bashes the people leaving the reviews. What a great way to run a business, instead of "what can we do to make you come try it again" you bash what could've been a come back customer. There was a review from a young lady on here where the owner claims she does nothing but bash business of all sizes. I went and looked at her review page and 90% of them are good, honest reviews. I can honestly say it wouldn't surprise me if this place goes out of business. Maybe this is why you didn't last in...
Read moreOk finally got down here to try a couple of pizzas and I’m mad at myself I waited so long. Ordered a large NY style and a large tomato basil white pizza. They were both fantastic this place is legit. Owner obviously takes great pride in his product and it shows. I’ve lived in the valley for the last 22 years and this is by far the best pizza I’ve had here outside of NYC. My wife thought the tomato basil was the best slice she’s ever had, and that’s saying something cause she doesn’t make compliments like that lightly. There is a wait as the owner admits but who cares if the end result is such a great slice of pizza?!? I will definitely not order pizza from anywhere else moving forward. I am so lucky this shop is just 5 minutes away. Keep up the good work and keep calling out the haters who leave bad reviews cause they obviously wouldn’t know a good pie from a bad one.
Ok just an update from today’s visit . I finally had the pleasure of talking to the owner Chris today while he handed me my delicious NY style half sausage pizza(bottom photo on the right). The pizza was outstanding as usual and it was nice to finally meet the man who creates by far the best pizzas in the Lehigh Valley. Chris’s passion and skill in the kitchen comes shining through in each and every pie he sends out the door. He readily expressed gratitude for the loyal customer base that his excellent pies have created in the Lehigh Valley area. Pro tip, I learned he is extremely busy on the weekends, but pop in on a midweek night and it’s a little less crazy and wait times are shorter. This area was a pizza desert for far too long. Affinito pizza is the best pizza you will eat in the Lehigh Valley… period. Now stop scrolling and go order yourself a pie, I guarantee you will not be...
