Ok finally got down here to try a couple of pizzas and I’m mad at myself I waited so long. Ordered a large NY style and a large tomato basil white pizza. They were both fantastic this place is legit. Owner obviously takes great pride in his product and it shows. I’ve lived in the valley for the last 22 years and this is by far the best pizza I’ve had here outside of NYC. My wife thought the tomato basil was the best slice she’s ever had, and that’s saying something cause she doesn’t make compliments like that lightly. There is a wait as the owner admits but who cares if the end result is such a great slice of pizza?!? I will definitely not order pizza from anywhere else moving forward. I am so lucky this shop is just 5 minutes away. Keep up the good work and keep calling out the haters who leave bad reviews cause they obviously wouldn’t know a good pie from a bad one. Ok just an update from today’s visit . I finally had the pleasure of talking to the owner Chris today while he handed me my delicious NY style half sausage pizza(bottom photo on the right). The pizza was outstanding as usual and it was nice to finally meet the man who creates by far the best pizzas in the Lehigh Valley. Chris’s passion and skill in the kitchen comes shining through in each and every pie he sends out the door. He readily expressed gratitude for the loyal customer base that his excellent pies have created in the Lehigh Valley area. Pro tip, I learned he is extremely busy on the weekends, but pop in on a midweek night and it’s a little less crazy and wait times are shorter. This area was a pizza desert for far too long. Affinito pizza is the best pizza you will eat in the Lehigh Valley… period. Now stop scrolling and go order yourself a pie, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!

I saw someone recently post a glowing review for Affinito in Emmaus. After looking a little deeper, my wife and I went to give them a try. First thing to know is they are presently CASH ONLY. They have an ATM, which was fortunate for us. Anyway, I got their meat lover's pie, and my wife got their tomato basil white pizza, adding ham to it. One of the first things I look for is a crust that doesn't flop when you fold it. Other that the very tip, which will happen with toppings that add moisture, the slice stood straight out when I folded it. This crust is just incredible. It has the right kind of crisp followed by the perfect chew. The sauce was naturally sweet, but not because of any added sugar. They make their sauce from scratch. In fact, the chef is the only one who makes the sauce, to ensure consistency. The amount of cheese is just right. I find that places that put a ridiculous amount of cheese on their pie are trying to cover up the lack of flavor elsewhere. Having been born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I have been searching for pizza like this for many years. This place for me is tied for the absolute best pizza in the valley. You jave got to try it Also, the zeppoles are a must try, if they are available! Their version is the version I remember when I was a kid in Brooklyn! First thing that I said after the first bite. So much better than any other zeppole I have had anywhere else. Give Affinito a try. You won't regret it!

What a huge disappointment. Was so excited to try a so-called NY style place and it was terrible. After we order drinks we get told it'll be over an hour wait for food, we say we only want slices and pasta, get told oh that will be less time. Ok, no problem. We wait wait an hour still no dinner, the waitress apologizes and I explain that I can't fathom and hour plus wait for pasta and slices, I'm told it's made from scratch. From working in a very busy Italian restaurant I'm blown away by the excuses. Get told 7 more minutes. 32 minutes go by. The 2 slices come out burnt. After some more time our ziti with broccoli and flavorless rubbery chicken and "carbonera" which was very oily and tasteless, came out finally. The server keeps apologizing I say I can't believe how long something like this takes so long regardless of claiming to be scratch. Box pasta and oily sauce with no flavor no thank you. The bread they serve you was burnt. Such a shame and don't believe I'll waste money there again.

⭐️⭐️BEST PIZZA YOU'VE EVER HAD⭐️⭐️ yup that's right, it REALLY is that good. I'm a pizza snot and it Takes a lot for me so say such a thing but I truly mean every word. This quaint little pizza shop oozes warm and homey goodness the moment you walk in. It's not fancy, it's not flashy, it's simple, clean and filled with heart. The woman who waited on us was extremely nice and genuine, hard to find genuine these days. She provided prompt service despite the influx of walk ins picking up their orders. The most amazing thing is that every person that walked in, she knew by name which speaks volumes. They appreciate their customers and they have a lot of repeats. Only a few tables here as they mostly do takeout but the rustic wooden booths made for a great atmosphere. We were told immediately that it would be about a half hour for our pizza... THE DOUGH IS MADE IN HOUSE, EVERYTHING IS FRESH!.. which brings me to this... Listen, if you're gonna complain about waiting for fresh food, go to McDonald's this isn't fast food, these people put HEART into EVERYTHING that's made, seriously. If you can't appreciate that, don't complain, just go elsewhere. Nothing bothers me more then a restaurant that's doing everything right and people that just want to complain about the wait like Karen's. It's not a secret or a surprise, they are very transparent about their Wait times. They want to do it right, it takes TIME ! If you appreciate the heart that's put on every plate and don't mind waiting, this is the place for you. It's worth the wait, I promise. Seriously the sauce from the marinara to the pizza sauce is perfectly balanced and incredibly fresh. You KNOW fresh ingredients when you can taste every one. The perfectly cooked pizza arrived and no flop! It's crispy, not burnt and absolutely AFFINITO!. Oh and the Zeppoli (sp?) Oh, my God.... it's like funnel cake on steroids lol incredible! I really can't say enough positive about this place. I can't recommend it more highly. PLEASE understand good food Takes time and there's a lot of love in this place. Be patient, meet some new people while you wait, you'll Be glad you...

Hands down probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. I'm originally from New York and beings this establishment said they make a Brooklyn style pizza the family and I were excited to try it. Well to say the very least highly disappointed, yes the menu does say it has a "well done crust" but well done crust and burnt crust are 2 totally different things. There is a picture of pizzas on here from a review where the crust is lightly done. So which is it dude, do you under cook or over cook pizza all the time. can you ever make a pizza that has a non burnt crispt to it, done in an "artisan" way as you would say it. The cheese on the pizza was crispy. We also got 2 pasta dishes that had no flavor to them what so ever. Chicken and broccoli with a "garlic and olive oil sauce" that just tasted like straight olive oil. As I read on a prior review from a young lady, the owner of this establishment blamed it on "lack of salt". If you're a cook, you DONT need salt in a dish like this for it to have flavor. We waited over an hour for 2 dishes and pizza slices. I will also follow that up with we were told that it would be abiut 35-40 minutes. I've honestly been in larger Italian restaurants with busier nights and the food was impeccable. With a 40 minute turn around time. The only positive experience here was the extremely apologetic and understanding waitress. I have seen multiple reviews on here that are negative and instead of swallowing his pride a little bit and maybe taking constructive criticism, the owner bashes the people leaving the reviews. What a great way to run a business, instead of "what can we do to make you come try it again" you bash what could've been a come back customer. There was a review from a young lady on here where the owner claims she does nothing but bash business of all sizes. I went and looked at her review page and 90% of them are good, honest reviews. I can honestly say it wouldn't surprise me if this place goes out of business. Maybe this is why you didn't last in...
