Lingnan — Restaurant in Emmaus

The WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life!!!! First of all the only combos they have only come with pork fried rice and if you want something different you have to pay extra to change it. Everything came in separate containers which was annoying. The total for literally just general tso chicken, chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and 2 eggs was $60!!!!!! THE MOST EXPENSIVE Chinese food I’ve ever ordered!!!! I would have gotten Chinese from my local place but unfortunately they were closed for the day. Everything was so bland and nasty!!!! The general tso chicken wasn’t even general tso chicken, I don’t know what it was so hopefully I don’t get sick because it looked super undercooked!!! The noodles were so bland and gross!!! My husband and I didn’t even finish the food and we threw it away because it was so nasty!!!! Never again are we getting food from there!!!! I then called the restaurant to see if I could get a refund and I still had my receipt and I told the lady over the phone all of the problems with the food and she started being very rude to me saying it’s not her problem it’s my problem and she didn’t care at all. Very poor customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! DO NOT WASTE...

Stopped by Lingnan Chinese Restaurant and WOW—this spot is incredible! 🤩 Ordered the Sesame Chicken 🐔🍯 and Shrimp Fried Rice 🍤🍚, and it was absolutely delicious. Unlike some Chinese places, the food wasn’t greasy or heavy at all—everything tasted super clean, fresh, and perfectly balanced with flavor. 🌱😋👌🏼

The sesame chicken was crispy, flavorful, and not oily, while the shrimp fried rice was loaded with shrimp and fresh ingredients—seasoned just right without being overdone. 🍤🌿

Also, the restaurant itself was spotlessly clean 🧹✨, reflecting the pride and care the owners put into their establishment. Speaking of the owners, they’re incredibly nice and genuinely welcoming. Very friendly feeling when I ordered 😊🤗🏡

Honestly, whoever says the food here isn’t good must be used to halfway-sloppy, no-effort Chinese places and clearly doesn’t know what fresh, clean, quality Chinese cooking tastes like. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂( FYI … Lingnan is Hong Kong Style Chinese..& it’s quality ! )

The food here is great, I'll start with that. The service is hit or miss. Tonight was the worst. We walk in, there is nobody standing at the counter, but we see people in the back and they see us, so we sit down. We wait 7 minutes (I was keeping track with my phone on the table) and a guy walks in and goes to the counter. A lady comes out, looks at us and takes his order, gives him his total and he walks out. SHE GOES TO THE BACK! The phone rings like 15 seconds later and she comes out and starts taking the phone order and the guy comes back in to pay. She finishes the phone order, the guy pays AND SHE GOES BACK TO THE BACK! Here was what we were ordering Lingnan: Large roast pork lo mein General Tao's chicken Large scallop and shrimp (I think it was Szechuan style) Large eggplant in garlic sauce 2 eggrolls 2 sodas Another Chinese place got our money. We love the food, but not sure if we'll be back. They say "people come for the food, but return for the service". You could learn a thing or...
