I have a rule: give a place at least 2 shots before I pass judgement. I get it. Bad days and hiccups happen.

A person I work with and I went to eat here for lunch about 2 weeks after they opened. The inside looks great from the previous establishment. Completely renovated, trendy with it's speakeasy prohibition feel, bathtub pouring gin and beer wall. I was really excited the first time I walked in. We sat at the bar and the bartender's first words were, "Bear with me, it's my first day." I say, "I appreciate that. Thanks for the heads up. Not easy starting a new job." She says, "No. I mean I've never actually bartended before and I've been behind here by myself most of the day so far." She looked terrified. For drinks, I ordered an unsweetened iced tea and my companion ordered a beer. Over 10 minutes later, our drinks arrived. She apologized because she couldn't find the iced tea. I completely understand. First sip, I could tell she accidently gave me sweet tea, not unsweetened. Again, honest mistake that she quickly rectified with some help. I ordered the roast pork sandwich and my companion ordered the Buffalo chicken dip. After about 45 minutes the food came out. The pork sandwhich was great. Nicely seeded roll, pork to broccoli rabe portions were great and the right ratio. The provolone was nice and sharp as it should be. My guest's Buffalo chicken dip, however, came out with about 5 chips and the dip more closely related soup than dip. Again, it was very early after this place opened and there are always mishaps and that's what we chalked this visit up to be.

Fast forward to yesterday. My wife and I had the rare occasion to have a date for lunch without kids and she's been wanting to try here. We arrive and are greeted promptly and seated to a pretty empty restaurant. For some reason, there are half deflated balloon decorations this time but whatever. Our server comes over about 1 minute after we are seated to get our drink order and also asks if we are ready to put our food in too. I kindly ask for just a little more time to decide on the food. Over 10 minutes later, she returns with our drinks and gets our food order. Unsweetened iced tea this time is luke warm with no ice, no lemon. I order an order of When The Pigs Fly pork wings (a must try according to the menu) and 6 regular wings. My wife orders the prime rib sliders and we split the Bugsy Twisted Tater appetizer. We are told that there are no twisted taters and would have to substitute for tater tots or fries. No big deal, we opt for the tater tots. I see her go over to the POS and place our order. We wait over 45 minutes. No drink refills, no communication with our waitress who I see across the room several times. I flag down a different waiter and politely ask if they could please check on our food. 10 more minutes, my pork wings and regular come out and my wife's sliders come out. The pork wings came plain with a side of sauce to dip them in. I was very surprised to see that there were only 3 of them and they were about the same size as an average chicken wing. $15 for 3 fried ribs seem to be a very steep price for what I got. My regular wings had clearly been sitting out for a while and were cold. My wife said the sliders were decent. We finish that portion of out meal, still no sign of our appetizer. I ask the waitress if we were still getting it and she goes back and checks. 5 more minutes and it finally arrives and it was ok. Probably better with the twisted taters. We get our check and leave disappointed after spending over an hour and $60 for ok food and pretty terrible service.

I really want to like this place. Maybe I'll try again in...

First dining experience here. I'll start by saying that I am not hard to please in a restaurant. "IF" the food is mediocre and the service is good I'm pretty much fine with that.

We walked in and the first thing I notice is the place is barely 30% full with diners, so not that busy. The hostess seemed to have an attitude and seemed to be bothered. We were a table of 4 adults. We sat down and a server came to us in a reasonable amount time for our drinks and she took our order right away. Drinks came relatively quick but seemed like the food took quite a long time.

When the food eventually came 2 of the 4 orders taken were incomplete and/or wrong. At least twice or maybe even three times other servers came to our table with beer and drink orders and others peoples food orders. Once finding those were not our orders, they scrambled to find out where the food belonged. They seemed confused. (Watched a couple get seated, wait and eventually walk out after they were ignored for more than 15 minutes)

Our original server did not check on us one time. Everyone was in need of refills and still waiting on the mistakes on our incomplete meals! Our server seemed overwhelmed. We were doing our best to be understanding (Which We Were) for our servers sake as we understand sometimes these things happen.

The food was ok....And it was just that....ok. I thought the wings were underdone. When it comes to wings even slightly underdone is not good....Ordered 12 wings and realistically ate maybe 8. Cesar salad was good. Lots of dressing if you like it that way. The other meals ordered at our table looked ok but nothing special.

We asked for the check and also advised the server that we had a gift card we wanted to apply to the bill. The server went to get the check, came back to the table and asked for my card! We didn't even see the check yet! Once we got the check we gave our card and paid while also applying the GC. Four people, nothing fancy and no alcohol and the check came out to about $120.

This place has the potential to be a great restaurant. The location, parking, and atmosphere is fantastic! I think they need to seriously tighten up the service aspect and quality of their food. The food and service quality does not match the atmosphere. I'll give it another try in a month or so because I like supporting local businesses rather than the big chains. Hopefully they get...

Capo has been one of mine and my families go to restaurants for dinner for awhile now. Tonight we decided to order takeout. We ordered the meatball, an order of bugsy tots, and chicken fingers with fries. When we got home we noticed that there were no fries with the chicken fingers. No biggie, my boyfriend told me he would grab me fries from mcdonalds but decided to be nice and drive all the way back to Capo to get the fries. They gave them to him no problem. I waited for him to get back to start eating dinner. I gave him a chicken fingers because there was barely any pulled pork on the tots that he got for his meal. Again, annoying but nothing to freak out over. He bit into the chicken finger to discover that it was completely raw! It was literally a raw chicken breast that maybe sat in the fryer for a minute and browned the breading. We ripped the other 4 tenders apart and ALL of them were completely raw. I called then to ask to talk to a manager. They were very busy and we were told there were only 2 servers on and a large party so the manager was unavailable. I work in the restaurant industry so I totally get it. The hostess was so sweet and offered to give us a refund for the chicken tenders. We knew it was not her fault and made that aware to her and just kindly asked the manager give us a call back. My boyfriend had eaten half of the meatball(we were eating in poor lighting because we were going to watch a movie at home) and i went to have some and thought to check it. The meatball was also COMPLETELY RAW! I called back again and spoke to the kind hostess and asked for a full refund and a call back from the manager. She took down my name and number and said they would call back. I then started eating the fries my boyfriend so kindly went back to the restaurant to get originally and i pull out a long blonde hair from the fries( i am a dark brown haired girl). Again, I work in the restaurant industry and i know this was not the hostess or managers fault but I am so disgusted with the kitchen for all of this that I am not sure I will ever return, and its a shame because this was one of our favorite restaurants. I am really hoping my boyfriend does not get sick not only from the raw chicken but the raw meatball in which he...

First time revisiting an old favorite since their reopening, and Capo & Co. Keg-Cork-Kitchen did not disappoint. Even with a packed house and nearly full parking lot, we managed to snag a table quickly. The server was warm, attentive, and knew the new menu inside and out, offering great insights on the specials. To start, I went with the bruschetta. Presented in bite-sized portions, it was topped with fresh tomatoes, garlic, cheese, and a tangy vinaigrette reduction—a vibrant start to the meal. For drinks, I chose a Manhattan while my wife picked out the "Real Slim Fizzy." She ordered a custom gluten-free pizza, which turned out to be a hit, while I went for a build-your-own burger, and we both couldn’t have been happier with our choices. One note worth mentioning: the menu change included removing the gluten-free hamburger buns, which was a bit of a letdown. They were high quality and a rare find for those with gluten allergies—hopefully, they consider bringing them back. Dessert was a Crème Brûlée topped with blueberries, a hint of banana, and strawberries—a nice twist on the classic. Paired with a solid cup of coffee, it was the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Capo & Co remains a standout. I’d recommend it to anyone who hasn’t yet had the pleasure, and it’s safe to say we’ll be back for more.

Neat environment and really cool throwback music, decor, photography on the walls, etc. There's a lot of attention to the details in the visual vibe and sounds (i.e. Sinatra playing in the background). Food is good and menu is pretty fantastic for a family mixed with both picky eaters and novice foodies. My Blues Burger was a thick burger patty that just simply tasted fresh by itself, and a decent amount of caramelized onions, mushrooms and the tangy steak sauce complementing the milder taste of gorgonzola cheese. My wife got the Chicken Parm, and similar to the old Italiano Delite, her portion was hefty. The beer wall has a great selection of close to 2 dozen micro beers, including a few local favorites from Funk Brewing and a couple harder-to-find brews not found in typical bars/restaurants. All the beers are 60¢/ounce of you pour your own from the tap wall. The only downside is you pay by the ounce poured, and I feel I paid for 2-3 inches of frothy head each time I poured my own beers, something that a bartender would've poured away and refilled with liquid to the top of the pint glass. So I essentially got 2 beers for $20. Regardless, pretty cool concept. Ultimately, we loved the place and will definitely be back to try more things on their menu.
